That Tallgeese kit is quite old. You might want to consider a newer model kit (such as one of the newer HGUCs or something from SEED or 00 Gundam. Granted, with a bit of work the Tallgeese can be pretty sharp, but right out of the box it's kinda fragile and floppy. Kits have come a long way since the Gundam Wing days.

Ya but it wouldn't really fit with the crowd.
But I'm waiting for Damashii 00 Gundam Seven Swords to be released.

You serious about the kit? I can send you the link of the import shop. I'm not sure about shipping though and if I remembered correctly, the pre-order closes next week for the store.

I ordered 2 kits - for my Exia (going to get another 1) and the other for Gundam 00! :D

I will send you a PM. They have been reliable afterall these years from buying from them but I stress this is the "first" time I'm pre-ordering a Tamashii Web exclusive stuff from them.

Remember that Exia R2's GN Sword III is not accurate to the 00's.

In pretty much every area save the blade.

For the Exia R2, it's essentially the GN Sword with the particle blade. This means it still has its pistol/shield mount.

00's version is a whole new pistol design, and has no shield.

They've got different mounting systems, too. Exia's hardpoint is located on the top of its forearm. 00's is located on the bottom. The 00 might still have a decent grip on just the handle, but I can't be certain of that.

I guess if it doesn't work out for you, you can always ship the spare set to cheetorBWORG :) .

They should have added a part for 00 Gundam in the Exia R2 Set. *Pouts* 2 for the price of 1.

Question for those of you who have the 1/144 scale sword strike gundam from seed

I was looking at this figure because the aile is out of my price range atm and I was wondering if this is a good seed kit as I have never bought a seed kit before

500 yen? It's the No Grade one, right? Honestly, I'd tell you to save your money, man. Get the Master Grade Sword/Launcher Strike Gundam. :thumb

Yeah, but those kits are cheapo. Not designed well, they're just REALLY, REALLY basic.

Avoid the No Grades like the plague if you want to be able to pose them at all.

The SEED ones only have basic articulation: shoulders, hips, neck, and maybe waist (although I have my doubts with that last one). They're molded in 2-3 colours tops, with very minimal colour breakdown, so you're going to need a ton of paint.

They're only really useful if you don't mind having a static desk model and you want some painting practice on something you don't mind screwing up so much because it's so cheap.

The 00 ones are only mildly better, in that they at least have elbows and knees and ankles.

Just go up to HG 1/144 if you want something at least halfway decent. The 00 ones were pretty cheap. I got my HG 1/144 Exia for... $11 CDN I think. The SEED ones were slightly more expensive on average, for some ungodly reason.

    And too black...

God I hate blacklining with a passion. Looks amateurish, and is the quickest way to make you feel like you're doing it professionally while simultaneously ruining your subject matter. A medium gray should be all that it needs, bringing out the details without overwhelming it. About the only time black is tolerable is if you're lining very dark colours. And even then, gray still works.

One of the most surprising examples of panel-lining I've seen comes from the Wing ver. Ka manual. The kit there was actually panel-lined in brown, and it looks really attractive. Helps though, that the kit is molded in an off, eggshell-white, rather than the traditional stark white. Brown wouldn't have worked as well in that case.

Ahhh, I see what you mean! But its ok! Having a spare set would come in handy in case of breakage or missing parts! LOL!

As the Wing MSIA - yeah, I have always found the US versions' to be "too dark", that why I avoided them but the toys are nice!

And yeah, I avoid No Grade kits! I would rather save my monies and buy a more decent kit like HG or MG kits.

So guys, I bought a PG Rx-78-2 recently
and it totally got me back into gundam BIG TIME
I'm trying to get gundam everything....
    But...
I really really want a God (burning gundam), the 1/60 version to go along with my already PG
But I cannot find this guy ANYWHERE, is he rare?
I found one, but it said it was "partially assembled in the box" Better than nothing i suppose but I'd like to keep my options open.

    Thanks doods.
