I bought the Legends Fallen yesterday. He's adoreable! Only, he needed a little more paint.....

And then, I suddenly found his secret beast mode!

You change the two arms, rotate the waist, and continue transforming him to vehicle mode.

The Fallen looks good. I haven't got Mudflap or The Fallen yet (not available in Australia yet). I have Prime, Bumble Bee, Jetfire, Springer, Star Scream, Megatron and Side Swipe (i passed on Ratchet as I didn't like the colouring and it wasn't Movie acurate).

From what I have read Legends Devestator will be available in Australia in the new Year.

I'm also waiting for Devastator. BB Shockwave has already bought them and when I could hold his figures in my hands, I was lost. Demolishor/Scavanger is a MUST HAVE figure for me. And maybe I'll have one as Scavanger and I'll repaint one to be Demolishor :D
    Ahh, plans. :)

My third ROTF Transformer purchase came as quite a surprise, since I had no idea this figure was in the works. Legends class Tankor, a repaint of Legends class Brawl from the first Transformers movie. The figure very much appears to be a homage to Tankor from Beast Machines, and since I am quite a fan of that line and show, I had to pick it up.

Robot mode: the figure is mostly a darker shade of "sky blue" with charcoal treads and silver highlights, including the face. The face is all silver except for the red optic, which does a nice job evoking Tankor without being exactly the same. The figure has a red X on the chest along with three yellow stripes, and the stripes reappear on the legs as well. Again, the colors aren't exactly the same as the original figure, but they're close enough to give a good impression of Tankor's deco.

Articulation: hips and shoulders mainly. The ankles fold in for transformation, and the upper thighs swivel. The articulated joints are ball joints, so that gives a bit more range than ratchets would.

Transformation: the head ends up under the front of the tank, the legs form the back half, and the arms form the turret. The barrel folds out from the left arm. Simple, as all Legends class are.

Tank mode: the turret doesn't rotate, but the tank looks pretty decent in blue with a silver front with yellow stripes. Not realistic at all, but a good color scheme.

Overall: the base figure was already quite good for these smaller-than-a-basic Transformers, and the Beast Machines homage is very welcome. Recommended.

Picked up Legends Sideways last week. His vehicle looks very nice, and resembles the Deluxe version. It does not roll very well, since the feet stick out from the underside.

The robot mode is quite nicely detailed and has decent articulation in the arms and hip joints; but he's very hard to balance, since his feet are both small AND moulded to his legs.

Despite the gripes, I still think he's a neat little figure and does not regret getting him.

-I actually like the Legends Sideways better than the Deluxe version. Mine has no problem standing, and looks really good overall.
-Skids is almost too tall, but is still a nice figure. Mudflap's legs bug the crap out of me, and the arms kinda suck. Not a great figure.
-The Fallen is the star of the series. One of the best and most fun Legends figure so far from this line.
-I saw Tankor but didn't get it. Since it's just a Brawl repaint, and I really didn't like Brawl that much, the BM homage just wasn't enough for me to pick it up (although I loved Beast Machines). Same exact feeling with Grindor. Didn't like Blackout, so I'll pass on Grindor.
-Sideswipe is really well done, with posability and a good transformation.
-Prime is much better than the first version, and nicely enhanced by the Jetfire combination (Jetfire is my second-favorite of the RotF Legends- great leg transformation).
-Megatron has an excellent alt-mode, but the bot mode arms and tiny feet are frustrating.
-Springer is cool, but the lack of shoulders kills it for me.
-Ironhide and Ratchet are the same as the first time around, so I passed.

Can't wait for Soundwave, Wheelie and Arcee. Also, I should be getting a set or two of Devastator in a month if the orders come in on time.

My veiw on the Legends this time around:

Optimus Prime- I LOVE this fig. The porportions are a bit off, but I love him. He almost makes up for his TFTM Legend. ;)
Springer- I used to love this figure, but over time, his hip joints started to loosen. Great Altmode though. I wish we could see his design to see how acuraate he wasw to his design.
Jetfire- Great! And the fact it combines with Prime makes him even better! Could have done without the cane though.
Megatron- Robot mode looks like shit, Vehicle mode looks great. I'm on the fence with this guy.
Bumblebee- Now that he has a Legend for his Camaro form, I'm happy. Pretty good for a Legends fig.
    Ratchet- Ok. Repaint, but ok.
Sideswipe- Again, a great Legends fig from this line. Easy transformation and Acurate vehicle and robot mode. ;)
Mudflap- Ok, to say the best. Decent vehicle, ucky (Yes, I said ucky) robot mode.
The Fallen- Like a gift from robo-nerd heaven. Only problem, foot balljoints on mine are loose.
Sideways- Awsomesause in a bun!! Better than the Deluxe, and stands well for tiny feet.

Over all, if the upcoming legends (Wheelie, Soundwave, Jolt, and Arcee) are as good as these, their going to be bought on sight!

Optimus - LOVE it, first one I wanted to get.

Jetfire - HAD TO HAVE THIS ONE - the only toy of him with an accurate bot mode.
-even with it's head coming outta his arse & the back missile

Sideways - grabbed the other night when I wasn't feelin' too hot & love him
-wish I could make the windows into wings -- esp on a hinge so they could fold up...
-glad I cut off the backs of his heels, but front wheels still do not work too great

Passed on the Fallen when I first saw him (gf's fault, she hated him).
Looking hard to find him again... bought on sight.

Swore I'd never touch a Wheelie fig, but the Legends fig looks PERFECT - again, more like the movie render than the full-sized counterpart (loving the fake inner wheel trick).

But with Soundwave, I'm kinda on the fence - we'll see how the impulse hits me when I see him on the shelf...

Would love a legends prime, too bad I can't find him. The Fallen is among the best ROTF toys, and just a legends too!
