    Oh give me a break!!

And am I the only one who only has 6 pages? Or am I the only one who goes into his settings to have more replies per page, thus less pages?

No offense, but I really doubt that there is going to be a Human Alliance Ratchet using the same Voyager mold. I wouldn't get it and if I would, I wouldn't pay like $10 more for a cockpit and an add on blaster. I think this is a tester and probably wouldn't be released.

So don't get your hopes up, it's probably just a prototype to experiment with Human Alliance figures. Besides, all Human Alliance are about 1:24, and this is NOT 1:24 scale.

So, for someone who is a N00b to the toy development process, what is the point of the concept HA Ratchet? I mean, I get the grey prototype stuff, that makes sense, but why this? Would it be to save money in development to experiment with a figure that was already made and just make modifications to it, or would there be another reason?

It's just like any other industry. They probably did some proof-of-concept mock-ups and stuff. Most likely these figures ended up in front of some management level people for approval of the new line. Perhaps this particular figure was an attempted pitch to show that they can pad out the line with existing molds.

It doesn't require reading through 50+ posts to find out about the concept deal. Just take a cursory scan through the thread first. As the old cliche goes, God gave you 2 ears and 1 mouth, so you can listen twice as much as you talk.

Yep, mods should fix the news story. That doesn't mean other people shouldn't read more than just that before they say something.

If you have a problem with people posting about people posting based on the news article only maybe you shouldn't come into the thread either. You should be used to that by now. Is complaining about complaining somehow better than just complaining?

Why so serious people? Let's enjoy Transformers together. We're supposed to be a fairly like minded community here.

    Rumble is RED! :D

Seriously, though, with all of the Ratchet stuff, I haven't seen anyone respond as to whether this is the last issue, or if it's going to be ongoing...

Three volumes are all that were planned from the start.

Hey, I realized it was a concept mock-up the second I saw the picture. seen planty of them before (anyone else remember the video camera G2 Megatron?).

but yeah, typically, you SHOULD read the topic before replying to it. not neccesarily all the way, but some.

    Well, I hope it's a HA Ratchet.
But, if the human figure is anyone other than Leo or Lennox, I'll break my ROTF Sam and Bumblebee!

YOU may have seen plenty of them before, but that doesn't mean every signle board member on this website has. So you shouldn't talk down with a "high and mighty" attitude to the other members. Its not really their fault if they've never seen a prototype before. I hadn't until I joined this site.

Also, maybe some people aren't able to read the entire topic because they're at work and dont have the time? Again, simply because you can do something, doesn't give you ANY right to talk down to other members because of it.

Seriously, we're here because we love Transformers, don't go starting crap with people, just sit back and enjoy.

*Off Topic* HOW DARE YOU BRING MEGATRON INTO A DISCUSSION ABOUT RATCHET?!?!?!!

The front page story has been amended. We appreciate the help of our multi-lingual members!

Kaiser at HK-TF has gotten his hands on Volume 3 of the TF Generation 2009 series. The images show a selection of early "prototype" looks at several of the gimmicks from the Revenge of the Fallen toy line as they were originally conceived in the production process, including a prototype of the Human Alliance line using a Voyager Class Ratchet as a base! Please note neither this nor any of the other items are actual production pieces - they were just mockups created by Takara-Tomy's Transformers design team to demonstrate the gimmicks, and are not intended for release.

_What the front page should have looked like to avoid confusion.

Deluxe class ratchet shown at SDCC should be mega cool anyway.

The ratchet doesn't look worth it. I thought the designers would have taken the opportunity to make a slimmer, more movie accurate ratchet... but this.. is just the regular ratchet, with a non-movie-accurate cannon on top his vehicle.
