Masterpiece Megatron, no contest.

 

Deluxe 'Animated' Megatron - kicked my arse and I don't know why. You used to be able to put any TF in my hand and voila, it was changed. Am I losing my edge!!???

Believe it or not, I have to say MP Thundercracker (And yes I also own Megz). Even tho I can transform skywarp and starscream easily (well screamer not so much anymore since his left wing joint is weak and will snap if I transform him again >_<) TC was actaully a real pain, some of the joints just wouldnt budge and at times I thought I was gonna break him since I really had to force them but eventually I got him into robot mode and that's what he's gonna stay in permanantly now, I can always use Skywarp if I wanna see the jet mode again.

I'm being lazy and not reading through 9 pages, so forgive me if I just repeat things.

I've heard that Omega Prime? (the RiD Magnus and Prime combiner) is a bitch to transform and takes a fair bit of time.

Alternators aren't hard, but it can be a bother to get all the panels to line up in vehicle mode, especially the Vipers.

Hmm.......I can't really think who has the hardest transformation that I own.....I'll say Masterpiece Starscream, mostly because of all the panels that are everywhere at the start of the jet to robot mode and when transforming the torso and head. Not so much hard, just finicky. In an ironic twist, MP Prime is actually pretty easy.

 

i would say ROTF leader Jetfire i had him 3 weeks and i still dont have him perfectly in jet mode it makes me want to bang my head on a wall 

 

Prime from the first movie. What a pain he was, Kept him in bot mode since. I rather leave some in alt mode or in bot mode to save the grief.  I also have Masterpiece Megs, Prime, Ultra Mags, Starscream (also Walmart ver.) Skywarp and Finally leave the best for last Grimlock. Out of all of them I transformed only Prime and Starscream the rest I going to leave alone. I'll be getting Thundercracker later this year and the Walmart version of Skywarp I'm not touching those either. I guess I'm losing it.

 

I was almost frightened to transform rotf Jetfire after everyone declared him the hardest thing ever. Funny, I had no problem at all. Some Transformers that have been a bitch to transform include:

1. MP Megatron - Definitely the hardest. Complicated and fragile.
2. Alternator Grimlock - I was warned about the hands when I bought him.
3. Crossover Venom - The waist piece about killed me
4. Rid Ultra Magnus - I don't personally think Omega Prime's that hard, but getting UM back into vehicle mode can be a nightmare
5. Magmatron - Just a lot going on...

I might have to take out movie Ironhide again. I don't recall having any problems. Also, the first movie Starscream mold is not hard at all. Maybe the bit with forcing his chest up, but otherwise his arms and legs just fold out from under the wings...

 

Masterpiece Megatron, all the way. I mean, it's been long enough I can sit on the couch without instructions and transform him while watching tv, but he's clearly the most difficult one I own in that respect.

 

MP Megatron for sure, but I recently picked up ROTF Long Haul for my son (and kinda for me too). He came in robot mode, but I have a heck of a time trying to get everything to line up in truck mode.

 

As people have said, MP Megatron is quite difficult to transform. Another one for me was RotF Preview Deluxe Bumblebee. I don't really know why, but his sections never seemed to do as they were supposed to. I recently bought the Human Alliance figure (I have always maintained that Deluxe is too small and Ultimate is too big for him) and sold the Deluxe.

 

G1 Battlechargers, for sure. Next to them would be those new Gravity Bots.

 

HA BB but only because i don't have many complicated transformers.

 

To be honest, I have yet to transform ROTF Prime and Megatron to alt mode. They just look too damn good in their bot mode. One day, I may, but for now, they can keep looking good! MP Megatron used to be a problem but after 2 trys, I got it right, but again he is one of the figures I'd rather display in bot mode. All in all not a lot of them seem difficult to transform once you get it down. I do however hate the design that they used for the sockets on the Alternators. Just the issue I have is with the arms falling out . I even broke my KO BT Shockwave arm, where it goes into the socket on the body.

 

Ever tried ROTF Breakaway? He is like a Rubik's Cube xD
