is it that hard to put a spring in it?

 

Yay! Woo hoo! But don't know if Toys R" Us will make them overpriced, like practically every toy in their store is overpriced.

Don't know if going to get him, robot mode is so small, while he transforms into a life-size microscope, like G1 Megatron. "Unproportioned", "Size Cheating".

 

I don't mind about the spring issue....I've just always wanted my own Perceptor!!!

 

Never had Perceptor so Ill pick him up.

 

Actually, where I live, TRU is the cheapest place for me to buy my Transformers. Fred Meyers across from my school sells Scout Classes for almost $10, while TRU wants only about $6-7 for them. Walmart is selling Deluxes for about $15, TRU wants about $12-13 for them.

Yes its only a couple dollars difference, but that couple dollars difference is what I save for another Transformer XD

Absolutely!! Yay!! I am so ready for this guy spring or no spring!! 
I don't usually take my bots out of the box, but if you wanted a spring loaded gun couldn't just add one?? I don't really see the big deal?? 
Lots of you guys modify bots all the time, couldn't Perceptor's gun be modified with an added spring? Doesn't seem like a big whoop to me.

I am really peaved it doesnt have a spring.. To me its a waste of money because of America's laws.... I dont want a bigger missile, and i want a spring. I dont need some anal parents telling me my toy cant have a spring.... horrible I bought this when I could have gotten the TFC book issue, which has a spring in it...

Hasbro should make one special set for America for their special laws and one for the rest of the world that isnt limited becuase of BS...

I don't see japanese kids running around with patches over their eyes...

im thinking or ripping one out of a KO, just gotta open up perceptors gun and see if it can be done... maybe if its possible and I can do it I will post back here


BTW should have the insecticons later today or tomorrow, so I should be able to tell everyone what they are like.

also probably get the encores that are out now, cassettes and bruticus... so if theres no pics of the cassettes around ill take some of those for the board also

 

I would MUCH rather have the spring removed than being stuck with those horrid missiles we got in the first TRU reissues.

Jeez dude, calm down. The original Perceptor toy's spring didn't even work in the first place, it was too weak to move the missile at all. Also, the Insecticons didn't even have springs. As for the "blunted wingtips," we were told at Botcon by Hasbro that they would in fact have the Japanese wingtips.

 

Yeah. Many of the US G1 launchers had nerfed springs. Missiles "launched" like two inches from the dinobot guns and seekers.

I really enjoyed the hasbro reissue ultra magnus, thundercracker, and skywarp though. Powerful springs.

Those insecticon wingtips are going to be awesome. I want a dozen.

Honestly the MISSILE JUST FALLS OUT on this one, atleast with a spring inside I could break it and wedge the missile in. This reissue, IMO really sucks

 

I already have 3 Perceptors anyway  



KO I got in 2007, Original I got in '85-'86, and awesome wacky KO I got in 2009.

 

Put the missile in, then move the trigger piece to lock it in place. Easy.

 

My guess is no.

 

like I said Its TOO LOOSE, it will open on its own, it will NOT LOCK properly  

right since they dont even have missile launchers hehehehhe whops   my bad, I JUST woke up, 9 am here now... still a zombie, must eat brains... (or frosted flakes, whichever I get my hands on first)

I don't care, the missile is jsut going to sit in there anyways, who displays them without the missile in there?

As far as the spring, everytime a comtemprary toy has one it is the worst thing ever, but now when an old toy is brought out it is the best thing ever.

 

Shame about the gun, but considering I didn't even remember that Perceptor had a missile cannon in the first place, I'm not too concerned.
