Yeah, that was the BIGGEST question that appeared in my mind. :sly:

As I did not purchase any of their toys in the past, I'm totally clueless as to how good or bad product is when QC issue's being brought up.

This is not the same toy dude, They dont look the same even. That RSP one was pure crap with a $500 price tag. I am so happy we are getting a production toy of her and im sure once we see the final version it will make the RSP one look even more like the $500 sh*t heap it is.

Seriously, you if you compare, their very different. The only things in common is that their representations of G1 Arcee, and their influenced by a Japanese custom done years ago. Aside from that, both have alot of differences. Also, the quality of the ARC is not what you'd expect from the type of product this Impossible Toys arcee will bring. For an example, check out Macraptron's thread (hope he doesn't mind) and see how much work the ARC kit required.

The cyberfembot was a total failure. I got one and it's 80% assembled. It was a hell to assemble, so I never finished it. I hope Impossible toys makes a decent (and pre-assembled) one.
But I don't know if it's really gonna happen. Impossible toys announced Nightbird and Bailiff (??) for over a year now. Never heard from them again. But I gotta say, I AM EXCITED!
EDIT: the site says it comes this fall, now I am MORE excited!!

This is cool, hopefully the sales on this will drive Hasbro to release that Titanium Arcee we saw at the Hasbro tour during Botcon 07.

Actually, it appears not to be, just similar... Which is not surprising as they are both based off the same G1 character design.

The rabbid Squirrel guy is already bitching on his site about it:
CyberFembots - You know you want one.

If you are making a living off of re-casting other people's sculpts and making figures of other people's IP, you have no room to speak if someone does the same thing simply better to make your product look like garbage.

Hes also has been pestering the group with emails asking about the Arcee figure as well, as he posted in his forum. Apparently he didn't get any replies to his last six emails, lol.

He's continuing with making the train mold too - awesome.  He must love loosing money.

What does it take to get his crap product to disappear? I know - other groups making the same stuff far better and far cheaper. Why does he continue to waste his time putting out inferior product?

Eh, their other stuff looks pretty awful IMO. I'll look forward to more pics but at this point I'm pretty much writing it off as garbage. Fingers crossed for an Arcee when Universe reboots again.

Hmm.. Well even though I think he overcharged I think he did his best. And I think he continues because he loves transformers. We don't have to buy his products.

His "best" is awful. Have you read the reviews of his kits? Complete garbage that can't even be put together properly without tons of modifications and fixes.

He should quit while he is far, far behind. This new Arcee may turn out to be crap too, but I'll bet you anything it's still superior in every way.
