Dang, I LOVE this thing so far!  I have a love for small details which could/need to be implimented or brought out, so your SPOT-ON recreation of the ice-cream truck is EXCELENT! While the "Suck my Popcicle!" was necessary, what really catches my eye is the "CAUTION: CHILDREN" you put above the windshield. I saw that in the movie, but I believe it's a detail some people could easily miss, but you didn't!

 

I was also thinking the running boards could lose some of the pink luster - per the pics, they appear to more rust colored & less pink.

Also, wadda 'bout the stickers on the rear window - not worth the trouble, or you still open to doing them if better pics come around OR you gonna go ahead & sell this one & do another if better pics come out?

 

yeah, noticed the running board also with the new pics. most likely they'll get more rust. I have really really bad reference pics to attempt the other stickers. Better to leave them out rather than do them wrong in my opinion. I still intend to make the black bumper sticker on the back, but it was too small to even read when printed, it will be a plain black rectangle with some shades of white in it.

Sorry for not commenting this and its very cool. The ice cream lighting up and the paint job to make it look all beat up, so very cool.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are "water-slide" decals? Is it pretty self-explanatory, get them wet and they adhere to the object?

 

yep. basically they are just like those revell model kit sticker sets. Soak them in water for a few seconds, then the paper backing and adhesive soften up, and the decal slides off the paper backing. They contain adhesive, but I like to "glue" mine to the custom using clear coats.
