Great design! Only the left arm is a bit off.... Take a look at how it is attached to his shoulder. However I could be wrong..... great stuff!
The plates (on which on one the decepticon logo is located) aren't his shoulders/shoulderpads. His shoulders are actually behind those plates - those are just additional armor that hide the space that would be needed for his arms to go in front of his chest in altmode. As for the altmode: His arms go in front of his chest and build the cannon, the illuminated part of the chest is ment to be a fusion reactor, where the energy for his shots is collected before it comes outta his cannon. His legs and parts of his shoulders become the tank treads and lower part of the tank, while his upper body in robotmode is the "cabin" of the tank. It would look kinda like Animated Shockwave, just a bit rounder and more alien in design.
Unnecessary. Also, what's a 'dumby'? So, when are we going to see the alt-mode? I know I asked before, but Cybertronian designs always fascinate me.

Definitely not so soon - but I'll try to post a sketch in the next weeks or so and will let you know when it's done! I've used only Adobe Photoshop. I love that program. Once again, thanks for all the kind remarks! I've added the headdesign to my first post so that all the fighting can stop.
no im not a jerk im not an idiot, i can read rules (you not i see so look in a mirror an repeat the word above, but use ur name, not mine): the design was shown month ago, okay it's from him, but i dont think hat a must visit anothe rportal in the web to search for, people who think that i must do something like this are idiots! sorry! th ruley say clearly: no existing work could be used, or doo i misinterpret a clear rule? mean this work is awesome and ready for a movie too, but not legit when i rad the rules for this contest! also i think it ha sno chance against the bruticus and menasor-desings

erm...ok...everybody is entitled to his or her opinion. I love this design and I think the craftmanship behind it is second to none.
Very nice! I like that you are honest about using the head design, and it really looks good on this design. I love the bright ornage better than if you had made it green. Nice work on the treads and the detail/scratching details.
limewire is right, that pic of his head has been on deviantart.com for over a year, the rules say that it has to be new for this contest only. YOU CHEATED!
