Now this was quite fun to work on. Originally I wanted to do something like Grimlock, but also something different. Grimlock himself is considered something of a T.Rex so I initially chose a Carcharadontosaurus as my dinosaurian base. As is pretty evident I did the robot mode before doing his plane alt mode, so it can be hard to imagine the transformation. Though I also like it like that, let's you think of the complexity yourself. The details I do have transformation wise are that the shoulder tips form the wing ends, and the back armor folds out into the wings, allowing the tail to turn itself into the body. The legs go to the underside and the arms and head form the cockpit. Fairly simple, I'll let you guys think of exactly how xP. The character himself I've thought of awhile ago. I like the mystery of his past, so it leaves alot open in that respect. His goals, like below are rather simple, to become decepticon leader, not unlike Starscream. Programwise, I mainly used GIMP for this, which worked pretty well. Originally drawing was in pencil. Now I did also consider a few names, like Harbringer, or Deathlock, which while awesomer, would also take away the history he has to me, so I left it as is. However, he's not so much focused on raw power, like Grimlock, rather agility is his speciality. He looked up to Starscream in some ways, and also wishes to overthrow Megatron. However he's more discreet, and his hidden agenda is unknown to others... He was outcasted from Cybertron and ended up on a foreign world, before being found by Starscream, who saw the potential he had. Both returned to Earth, though Z-Ravager collided in a different area, and later. He doesn't care to hide or be conspicuous, hence his alt mode having such standout colors, he's indifferent to wether the humans notice him or not. Infact, he'd be glad if they did, nothing like a good excuse to destroy some meatbags eh? He hit Earth at a different time then the rest of the decepticons, and different place, colliding first in the South American rainforest. He only came upon his alt mode upon trekking northward and scanning one at a U.S. Military Installation whilst in testing. Upon re-establishing contact with Starscream, he ended up meeting Megatron himself, and pledged his loyalty. Of course, that was merely a facade...
