I like the Mindwipe naming and colors and find it interesting, considering his characterization in the comics and his connection with Bludgeon. Perhaps he trained with Bludeon, learning metallico; with the knives and all. I can't wait to read his Bio. Fantastic Figure - Thanks HASBRO

I thought the comparison to Cybertron Soundwave was warranted (Similar Alts), some say we may see a Soundwave repaint of Mindwipe.

I like the fact the Skystalker scout can hook to Mindwipe, I'm actually renaming him Vorath so Mindwipe still has his partner.

Now all we need is a Bugly.

Seriously Hasbro, We'd be able to re-create nearly the entire Dark Ages.

Good idea, I was thinking the same about bugly who could be repainted as bugly?
to be honest I'm thinking Detour would make a good bugly .

Notice how skystalker, Mindwipe and Bludgeon have blade weapons. Also they could easily repaint Sky Stalker as Bugly... I think the only reason they haven't is bugly is not a awesome name, by any standard.

I agree that he looks fantastic, love the design and colors. I'll definitely be picking him up, probably along with Skystalker, who looks cool in his own right.

I'm repainting ROTF Voyager Starscream as Bugly, ROTF Voyager Megatron as Skullgrin, ROTF Skywarp into Finback and TFTM Leader Megatron into Thunderwing.

Have you noticed that Hasbro is taking the best part of the movie designs and mixing it with classic designs, so as to make the toys more accessible to long time fans. The biggest difference is the heads, where-as the movie heads are all uniformly ugly and as you've seen Hasbro has been re-scupting the heads to be much more classic while still retaining the high detail level of the movies. Its Hasbro attempt to appease us long time fans while tricking the big box stores to buy "movie merchandise" and I thank them for the effort. Mindwipe looks simply amazing.

Mindwipe's head is almost 100% spot on with Soundwave's in-movie satelitte head.

I think I'll use him as my movie Soundwave instead of the Deluxe.

Both Skystalker and Mindwipe are must haves for me. I love stealth fighters. I was saying, that before ROTF was released, Soundwaves Earth mode should have been a Nighthawk Stealth Fighter. Heck it be nice to see his robot form. But anyway I think Mindwipe was one of the best, if not the best new mold shown. Needed to see that after that "animated-movie-verse" dissapointment Lockdown.

How do you guys know Skystalker can connect to Mindwipe? Was that stated at SDCC? Awesome if true, the beginings of a team of stealth spy transformers. Soundwave can lead them.

Those were some of the best transformer characters ever.

It was stated and the evidence is visable.

Also, I really don't see the resemblance of movie Soundwave to Mindwipe's head, though it would have made a marvelous soundwave bar the knives.
