I have no problem with this news. You know that if Bay did use the Diobots we would hate how they came out.

Good point, the less he gets his hands on the better. I don't even want a TF3 if his sorry ass is directing... what would the point be anyways? Go watch TF1 again, there you go, that would be Michael Bays TF3.

Though, it's not anymore outlandish or childish than those dumb twins, the fallens entire plot, or these stupid movies in general.. I think adding some dinos into the movies are the least of his worries... He is so fucking lost on how to make a Transformers movie, that entire crew has no idea. They wasted the franchises reputation by turning it into cheap shit entertainment with no quality or value.

BUT IT MADE MONEY!!! (Fuck you, ******.)

When we got the chance to talk with Kurtzman and Orci about Transformers, we had to ask about the movies' signature moments of freakiness, like robots peeing on people or — in the new movie — a set of giant testicles hanging down from Devastator, the massive robot made out of five construction vehicles. (He's a bunch of construction vehicles, and there are two wrecking balls hanging between his legs.) Do Orci and Kurtzman write these things into the script, or does director Michael Bay "ad lib" them?

Generally, the duo said, these things are in the scripts. Although they couldn't remember the origins of Devastator's testicles. Orci thought that Bay had demanded "a big pair of testicles." But Kurtzman reminded him that it was actually co-writer Ehren Krueger's idea, when the three of them were holed up for a few months writing the script after the writers' strike. "The testicles are in the script," Kurtzman said. "Well, it's a construction machine, so you of course have wrecking balls. And Michael, immediately, of course, loved it."

    Could go either way.

I get the distinct feeling this guy is just stuck on his success formula. He found something that worked for him and now he is afraid to push himself into new and exciting directions or even try to better himself in the fear that he might not know how to do it. He thinks he knows all he needs to know, and that's pretty much it.

This director will not be remembered as a good director, not even after he dies, he will be remembered as another plain jane jack off who didn't try to do anything different or make anything of quality.

Just keep pumping out the bullshit bay, formulas have a habit of getting old.

Anyone who can't see a way that the Dinobots could fit has zero imagination and has no business writing a Transformers movie.

Okay, here is my opinion or idea or whatever you want to call it...

If Dinobots were going to fit in the movieverse, this is how it could have been... The Autobots detect on ancient Autobot distress signal from deep in the earth. Dig up the Dinobots, who arrived on earth millions of years ago and scanned dino modes. Ratchet attempts to revive them, meanwhile Devastator is reeking havoc and the Autobots can't stop him. And just as all hope is lost, Ratchet arrives with the revived Dinobots who battle Devastator and destroy him... Then as dino modes aren't such a great disguise on earth now days, they could scan some bad-ass destructive military vehicles (maintaining the 'bot's powerful altmodes) and the rest is history...

I've always like the G1 Dinobots and this way we could get the dino modes while still fitting into the movie-verse in the end.

Yes because having Devastator climb a piramid to reveal a weapon is far more plausible.

As for a story, some humans at a dig site find Shockwave, and later they find the Dinobots. They don't really need to be dinosuars, but at leat give them beast cybertron beast modes.

I find Kurtzman's version far more pausible, just because I doubt that Michael even tries to add ideas to the script outside of "i'd like a explosion that happens there and a robot that is old, now go for it!" and just goes with the flow.

You're absolutely right. And it's a damn shame, because his idiotic wastes of celluloid make boatloads of cash, and his pathetically bad directorial skills aren't called into question when the studio makes its money. Film is dead. Soon, The Fast & The Furious Part 8 will be winning the Oscar for best picture, as we further descend into Idiocracy.

Any updated character has to have at least some degree of feasability.

but, keep in mind that the humans probably know the truth of the transformers on earth, since the events of TF2. so maybe the dinobots can be included without raising suspicion?

    Screw You Bay!

The dinobots no matter how illogical for the movies, should still be included. "I hate them." Oh, but Skids and Mudflap are acceptable and the inclusion of a F**KING PRETENDER? F**K YOU BAY!!!

You know, if I was making a Transformers movie, I wouldn't put the Dinobots in it. Wheeljack, Hound, Mirage (mm, delicious Indy racer), an air craft carrier massive bot...

But not Dinosaur robots. That are GOOD GUYS. That's just stupid.
