Really, really digging the paint scheme on that Eneger Z. Probably won't end up buying it, but it does look damn cool.

Word of warning. If you don't know Fewture is for the Hardest of the Hardcore collectors. They carry HEFTY price tags. Also stores like BBTS/HLJ might not carry him so you have to resort to HK sites or Ebay.

Getter Dragon! And it looks like Big-O is getting its infamous O-Thunder parts, though I can't tell if it's being included with the base figure or if it's the first part of that rumored "bonus parts set."

Cooool, looks like the smaller part of the shield pops out for the final stage attack too.

I'm almost pleased by the amount of metal but I can't believe the major mass of the legs is plastic. Ho hum.

Yeah, I was hoping the legs would be all diecast, but if you think about it, it's probably just as much diecast as Mazinger has. It'll be a seriously hefty bot.

Also, while the smaller part of the shield MIGHT pop out for Final Stage, it might also be for the force field system that Big-O used once or twice..or both!

Just wanted to share my Bday haul: GX-40 GODMARS and GX-45 Mazinger, both MISB. That in itself is a great haul IMO. But heres the best part, I got both for $150 (GODMARS-100 and Maz-50). I got it from fellow TFW'r jam2983. Hes local so i didnt have to pay for shipping.

Anyway heres his sale thread. He also has the new Voltes V and a lot of TF stuff.

It was one of those random things. I was bored, so I started searching for stuff at the junkion exchange. Then lo and behold. I see Maz and Godmars for cheaps.

    Now Im Daimos hunting.

One quick question, how is Zambot 3? Is he worth the price of admission?

I never got Z3, because of the stories of his poor articulation, although chachipower from RobotJapan has a quite nice video overview of him here:
YouTube - Soul of Chogokin GX-23 Zambot 3 mini Review

From what I understand, Z3 has a lot of metal content, a great core figure, and quite a number of accessories. The downsides are the combined form poseability (practically none) and the hands aren't very good at holding anything.

nope...love the line though. Personal faves are Mazinger and Raideen but none disappoint. I even liked Robocon. Definitely snag them if you get the opportunity... especially at $15, that's a steal. :)

NJS3 - yeah, that Mazinger you got is the shortest among the Mazingers. But the articulation is the best.

Been a while since I watched it but doesn't that little bit of the shield pop out the same way in both attacks? After all it used the force field while powering up the final stage, I think.

Z3 is great. He is really under-appreciated, and for the low prices I have seen some go for it is a no brainer. He's got tons of parts, the core robot is GREAT, and the disfunctionality of his hands is no deal breaker. He can still hold weapons, and IMO he looks better with none at all anyways.

I go back and forth from displaying him whole and displaying the little guy (Zambird? Zambo?) next to him, as is he has just undocked from the powered up armor.

On top of all of this he is one of the larger SOC's, and compared what newer models that size sell for he's a steal.
