    Beware buyers, KO Sunstreaker is to be released. Even the box was counterfieted. Not sure if it was news, but i thought i would warn you.

    Aaaand there goes the chance of a Sunstreaker reissue for the foreseable future, provided Takara actually find/intent to restore the mold.

    I doubt a KO would get in the way of an official release.

    I don't think that would completely stop the chance of an official reissue. Take a look at Metroplex, Ratbat, Rumble and Frenzy. All of those were KOs first and later had/will have official reissues.

    As long as it's as good (quality wise) as Mirage, costs about the same as he did ($40. shipped) and the paint doesn't chip, it might be worth it.

    I sold my Original G1 Mirage and kept my KO Mirage. KO cost me $40 shipped and I was able to sell my original for $150. I liked the quality of my Mirage KO. If Takara ever releases it I will purchase another one.

    Great, another KO that will cost more than an encore. The thing that gets me is, if these guys can keep doing this, how does Takara get away with saying that they can't find/make a mold?

    This is old news. KO Sunstreaker and blue Bluestreak have been in the pipeline for awhile now.

    What chance? Every time the issue pops up, someone swears up and down that the mold is lost. I wouldn't lose any sleep over this lost "chance."
