Haven't had any luck with Jetfires here in North Olmsted. But haven't had much time to go around town to the Avon area yet. I should probably go to the Steelyard and pick one up there... Any sightings of Devy anywhere yet? Also, anyone know when the Longhaul Voyager Wave or the ICT deluxe Wave coming out?
Havn't seen Devy yet, or Long Haul for that matter. I did get Mixmaster from Bedford Wallyworld, and I have to say, I was a little apprehensive because the bot mode looked like crap on the back of the box, but DAMN it does this figure no justice, IT's Friggin AWESOME. I havn't tried to transform him into his "3rd" mode yet, and really dont see a point, but again, he is awesome. If anyone is avoiding him like i was, DONT. Despite the back of the box, his bot mode isnt a pelvic thrusting, bastard version of bonecrusher, he actually stands quite tall. Sorry for the rant, just wanted to let everyone know!
Eastgate Walmart: They've got Leader Jetfire (on top of a large pile of Leader Megs and OP's behind the FAB endcap), and is also home to at least 15 Animated Sentenel Primes!
found (and bought) a single leader Jetfire at Meijer in Kettering. Several ROTF and Animated toys are on sale or clearance as well.
Well, last night I had to decide on going either to Avon or Steelyard. Even though someone said they saw Jetfire at SY about a week ago. I figured to go to Avon because...I haven't seen what they got either. Well, I regret not going to SY. So, has anyone been to Steelyard lately that can confirm they have Jetfire or more stuff? Getting kinda tired of wasted trips.
Went to the Kohls and Wal-Mart on Priceton Rd. today and Kohls had 1 more Dark Sideways and 2 Dark Breakaway (Bought one sideways) 12.99 a piece and they had 2 ANIMATED CLIFFJUMPERS for anyone still looking also at 12.99 a piece. Wal-mart was a bust with 7 STRATOSPHERE'S! maybe more. About 3 Mixmaster's 3 Megatron's and 1 Sideswipe RR. A few of the exclusives and i think HA BB. I bought the last Legends Ironhide. Finally a small break between new rotf toys. i am looking for the new Marvel Crossovers Wolverine maybe the new Spider-man, i never bought that mold. ~AAD
Went by ToysRUs in Beavercreek. Didn't find a lot that's not already available everywhere else, though Universe Voyagers/Ultras and Animated Leaders were half price for the time being. Also new Space Police lego sets. Ooo!
Well, Steelyard had nothing yesterday asside the same ol stock. Avon and Elyria Targets, Walmarts, and Toys R Us' had nothing new either. North Olmsted is still in the same boat as far as nothing new, I swear it has to be my city...Target doesn't put new stuff out until they get rid of all that has been sitting there...Walmart won't break any special date for nothing, and Toys R Us, just doesn't seem to want to put out more either.
Went on another bit of a road trip yesterday to see the fiances family in Montpelier, ususaly something I try to avoid at all cost. This time it actually worked out though, took the long way back down Rt 6 and hit Bryan, Defiance, Napoleon, and BG. Nothing at the Walmart in Bryan, same for Defiance and BG, but I did find Universe Hound at the Meijer in Defiance. Napoleon was the jackpot though, found ROTF Jetfire and Universe Inferno. It was the only Jetfire, almost didnt look as I was getting sick of seeing nothing but Megatrons. Oh, and not really a sighting I guess, but I did hit a garage sale friday where I found a bunch of G1 Transformers, grabbed Warpath, Beachcomber, Blitzwing, some cool submaring guy, and Devastator (complete, minus the individual bot guns). Pretty good weekend Id say
Damn i hate in 2 days i went from only wanting the Walmart Seekers and the TRU Bludgeon set to wanting Jolt,Twins,Longhaul,Grindor,Swerve,Arcee! i have Blazemaster,Deadend and Stalker Scorponok so i can cross those off the list i have had them for quite some time. and when the new wave of scouts comes out ill only need Ejector as i have nightbeat. ~AAD
Don't forget the TRU Nemesis set with G1 deco soundwave has apparently been released as well! What about Grindor and Long Haul? I thought those were supposed to be out in October! With sightings of that wave of voyagers and deluxe 4&5, The hunt is gonna get crazy! I was fine with a nice pause, I've been focusing on Rise of Cobra anyway. I've put TFs on the backburner save for scalpel since I bought him outta sheer boredom.
