How do the Alternity's look next to MP-Prime in vehicle mode? Are they more in-scale than the BTs?

 

They're very small. Think around the size of Universe Sunstreaker & Prowl.

The cassettes reissue is a good idea, even though I have one of them

 

I'm glad somebody finally pointed this out. The amount of people that kept saying Reflector was 1984 were beginning to annoy me.

Good news on more Encore, though a Laserbeak re-release is just unnecessary. This reissue line has had a few missteps, but is generally doing a pretty decent job.

I love the Alternity Prime, but the Megs was a bust IMO. Bumblebee looks.... I don't know...I almost think hes too close to the classics version.

I guess VW is fine with licensing the Bug to Takara as long as Disney is involved. I'm liking how the car mode looks like the G1 cartoon version of Bumblebee's alt mode.
Alternity Bee is looking good to me, and might get it. I held off on Alternity Prime and Megs, the toys look good, i'm not a fan of making Prime and Megs into cars. I'm still hoping that they recolor/remold those toys into Smokescreen/Prowl/Silverstreak.

 

Will get Big Mission #3. Not really liking the look of BB, but I'm intrigued of the thought of owning an Alternity CJ so I look foward to actuall pics of the toy.

 

I am getting one to give my Disney-fanatic sister for Christmas. It's a good excuse to buy something stupidly expensive and nonsensical and be able to check it out without having to justify it for my collection  

 

bumblebee looks ok, but ill buy him anyway. great to hear the alternity line is expanding. im considering buying prime now that i see a bumblebee coming out.

donald duck looks very cool, but i wont waste any money on the little fella.

ill definitely be picking up the encore cassettes. pure win.

 

After looking at the Alternity Bumblebee, seeing it has me thinking about collecting them. I'm a big fan of the Binaltech but have been reluctant to buy into the Alternity since it's a different scale and they left fans hanging with the Binaltech line.

However, pencil my name in for the Encore #19 set though I wonder when we'll see a Blaster Encore reissue to go with the Autobot cassettes.

 

I like that Donald has an alt mode color scheme suggestive of Herbie.

Bumblebee is Ok but I'm a bit worried by the feet and the belly transformation.

He might look nice in Goldbug colors though.

 

Ugh, my three-year old is a HUGE fan of both VW Beetles AND Donald Duck. But a $50 TF for a three-year old? Le sigh.
