Looks like the BB head is strongly based off the original Alt/BT design.

Them releasing a BB for the Alternity line actually cheeses me horribly. And if they've had the Frenzy/Rumble mold, why on earth are they only now finally releasing re-issues of them? What the heck, TT/H?

    Alternity Bumblebee is a fail.

The head is too big, the shoulders too broad, basically, the proportions are all messed up. As a previous poster noted, it looks like a 'roadbot'. Car mode is adequate, but nothing more. There are much cuter compact cars out there.

Classics and Animated Bumblebees are so much nicer. Such a shame because I really liked Alternity Optimus, and they are incredibly well made. And Bumblebee's such a crucial character. Donald Duck/Herbie/Bumblebee on the other hand, that's surprisingly cool.

E-hobby...do something fun with the new reissue stuff...been ages and I love repaints.

And to all the ones that bash out on ppl that have said stuff with molds gone/lost or so. As far as I know no one has said Frenzy Rumbles molds have been lost or destroyed, it was only a thought since Soundwave been made so many times and the mold have never been sighted so ppl assumed it was lost.

And yes some molds were confirmed lost/destroyed at some Botcon and that is a fact if I dont remember completely wrong.

VERY interested in an Alternity Bee and Cliffjumper. Unlike Prime and Megs, they will fit with my Alts very, very well.

Awesome news, but I don't know about Alternity Bumblebee. Don't know as in, which colour to get. I picked uncharacteristic colours for Convoy and Megatron, but in this case they both represent certain character.
Totally sold on the cassettes :D

I'm all in for Rumble/Frenzy reissues! Bumblebee looks a bit stunted in the legs department but I'll wait until I see a product shot.

Great to see some exciting non-movie news though!

As much as I want those as well, I highly doubt it. Every single Encore we've seen is of a character that's made an appearance in the original G1 'toon. And if their namesake were among the bots in the Bay movies, that's an additional driving factor, hence Frenzy. See also: the upcoming Skids

If I get only one Alterenity figure, it must be that Bumblebee. That thing will serve nicely as my Alt. BB, even if the car's scale is a little off.

I think the scale is too far off to really fit in with the Alt collection, but it's probably the closest we will get.

Even though I have no urge to get the Disney TFs, I must admit having Donald transform into Herbie is pretty cool.

I'm making a guess that the final cassette mission is Slamdance vs Squawkbox. They have put 4 cassettes in each mission set and those four are the last domestic release to the US that have not been reissued. But it may be possible that we'll get thrown a curve ball and the last four cassettes may end up being Japanese exclusive cassettes that were never released in the US. Takara/Tomy has once again proven to us that when it comes to reissues almost anything is possible. I would like to know though what made Takara/Tomy pull the trigger on doing Rumble/Frenzy considering the huge amount of KO's out there of those two.
