That's the winning entry? It's a nice drawing, don't get me wrong... but essentially, he just took movie Bumblebee's robot mode and added a few bits to it. I thought there were FAR more interesting entries, conceptually.

I'd be more impressed if it didn't look like a re-shelled Bumblebee.

EDIT: looking through the entries, President Obama's Cadillac One was by far my favorite.

it is just a remake of bumblebee, nothing special about it. I wonder how it win the contest.

 

I'll be the zillionth person to say it's just a re-colored Bumblebee. Even the arm and leg armor is the same.

 

But he has tattoos and spikes ... that means he is edgy and lame all at the same time!

GIGAWATT was pretty creative.

 

yep those would be my two favorite.

I'm thinking the stolen Bumblebee design won because it's the only one with a finished background. which means the judges weren't focussed on the bots, but on the picture as a whole.

if I had to choose, it would be the Secret Service Limo. infact I think it should be in the next movie.

 

The Chaffeur-bot seems the most creative to me. He even looks like Secret Service agent!

Looks like Bumblebee scanned a new car and put on a funky hat.

 

Considering how half the other entries look very sub-par, and the rest don't look very movie-like, it's not surprising that the most polished entry wins.

 

I liked "The Beast" (Secret Service Bot) and Quake ... he is holding Optimus' head!

 

I thought this was a Create a New transformer, not redo a existing one???? All and all, however, robot mode isn't bad. Not great but not bad, but the alt-mode. That sucks serious A$$. Yeah how creative a orange BB with those tribal makings all over it. WHo picked this to be the winner????
