1.Soundwave is awesome
2.Super Sucks that we did'nt see him in Robot Mode.
3.Hope he comes back for TF3

 

Twas perfect. He's there for coordination, information collecting and spying. Not a soldier on the front lines.
I was glad they gave him Ravage as well, while the idea of being a Satellite was great.
I liked the voice, knowing it was Frank Welker was enough for me, that's all I cared about. Hell, Welker coulda done Uni's voice from D&D for Soundwave I wouldn't of cared as long as Welker voiced him.

 

Soundwave was awesome, hopefully we'll see him in robot form in TF3

 

He was amazing!

The best part was ravage. Than ravage ejected the doctor in the water!

 

Soundwave was awesome. Wish to see more of him play a bigger part. Also loved the fact that Ravage is ejected from Soundwave's chest. Ravage.. wow what a cool robocat. I loved the guns on the back.

I loved his portrayal in this movie. He did what he did best: organizing and commanding the troops from above. Plus, he was the most successful Decepticon in the whole movie. He located both Megatron and the Allspark shard, and he found Sam in Egypt. I'm actually happy that he doesn't have an Earth mode now, though now I wish his toy was a Voyager.

What I'm predicting (and hoping for) is that in TF3, Soundwave continues his survailance/hacking in space until the Autobots discover him. Then an Autobot (Cosmos, Omega Supreme, or maybe a new space worthy Autobot?) will fly into space, forcing Soundwave to transform and defend himself. Then Soundwave and his remaining minions will fight against the Autobot (which, after thinking about it, O.S. would be perfect for this, as he would have to face more than one 'con), which would ultimately result in Soundwave's death (as much as I love Soundwave, if TF3 is the last movie, he will probably have to die, and I think this would be a good way to do it).

 

Agreed on the Voyager. Midget Deluxe Soundwave makes me sad every time I look at him, even if it's Soundwave.

I think I'd like to see Soundwave die (if he had to) helping Megatron fight Starscream, and that sends Megatron off a cliff mentally after losing his most loyal soldier and Megatron goes on a kamikaze run after Starscream. The space battle with his minions does sound really sweet though.

I thought he was awesome. I hope he has a much bigger role in the third movie. Would love to see him in action and have some dialogue with Megatron.

 

I echo this statement, and all those that say Soundwave's voice was a huge missed opportunity. Believe it or not, many people I know thought Soundwave and the Fallen were the same character, citing 'similar voices and appearance'.

 

I think he was really sexy.

 

Soundwave is just awesome. He has 4 eyes, and he did has a visor in the movie.

Soundwave would be crap in fighting mode i would rather him stay in space tbh...

 

Soundwave was really good. I loved how he looked, and sounded like the natural update to G1 Soundwave. I also like how they animated his mouth/mouthplate. He also did A LOT for a guy who was in space the entire time. Plus, he's still up there, so I'm sure he'll be back for TF3.
