Haha, hey man, it's all personal opinion anyway. The design is pretty extreme so I definitely see how it could create some strong opinions one way or the other. Certainly not the best design around, but I dig it a bit. Personally, I think the Damashii I'm most looking forward to is the Arbalest, and I'm really hoping they do alot more FMP stuff (Venom please).
Speculate no longer! ROBOT DAMASHII KONIG MONSTER. With all of those unnecessary joints, it looks like it might actually be transformable!!! Lots more pics here: ?????????2009??????ROBOT??SIDE KMF? ????????????S.H.??????? ????????????? (?????????)
Okay, I've been freaking out about this for the past 30 minutes, so I'm not going to share that here. I have a different question. That Micheal's VF-25, is that the Robot Damashii one or the VF100's one? Or has the VF100's line been rolled into the Robot Damashii?
It's a new Robot Damashii VF-25. They're non-transforming (not even partsforming). They were actually one of the first Macross Frontier toys revealed and were shown as one of the earliest Damashiis. They were obviously put aside for quite a while though. This bodes well for the size of that Damashii Monster. Not so much for its price, though, hehe.
That's Unicorn Mode, not Destroy Mode. Destroy Mode is the hyper mode where it reveals the Gundam face and V-Fin, and all the armor opens up revealing the luminescent panels underneath.
I know, but there's a new <Side MS> figure that's being planned, and since we have Unicorn Mode already announced, I thought the Destroy Mode would be the obvious next release.
I'm pretty sure Destroy mode was announced already. Not shown in prototype form, no. But when the figure was shown off before, the placard had greyed out or silhouetted pics of Destroy along with Sinanju (or maybe one of the other Neo-Zeon suits). And I'd almost place a bet that Banshee Destroy mode will be a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive.
@%^! I hope my import stores bring it it! I think it kinda sucks that this kit is a web exclusive as the Gundam 00 was using it in the anime. When does the Exia comes out? Anyway, I rushed out and picked up the Turn X when I read news that the Turn A is coming out!
I don't think import shops will ever get it. Might have to hold out for proxy buyers to get it... *Sighs* Galahad... Exia R2... Damn exclusives...
I'm thinking if I should pick up the Regnant...one of my import stores closed the pre-order for it despite it being a web exclusive and if there's access stock, I may pick it up but at US$55-60. However, I have to think doublely hard as I rather pick up the rest of the Celestial Being cast. Right now, I only have: i) Gundam 00 & Raiser; ii) Mr. Bushido's Ahead iii) Araw grunt iv) Turn X Sorry, I can't post pixs as it seems my camera is down.
I picked up the Garazzo and the Gadessa and I must admit that I am so impressed by the quality of the figures although I must complain that there were a couple of sprue marks! LOL! The price was pretty high for the toys also! By the way guys, what are the enemy grunts in Code Geass in both season 1 and 2 that can be found in this line?
There are alot (sorry, don't have a list...not very helpful there). Just wanted to post to let you know (if you didn't know already) to make sure to check for the In Action Offshoot figures for CG as well, since they're are the same scale and construction as the Damashii figs and alot can be had fairly cheap.
Thanks, dude! I will be checking out the Off-shoot in action figures also. I recall seeing some in an import store but I wasn't certain if the scale was off. What do you mean by same construction though?
I just meant that they have alot of the same materials and jointing as the Damashii figs, so hard plastics rather than gummier ones in many cases plus those little circular metal bits at some of the joints. Also, I'm not sure if the scale is exact, but it's certainly very, very, very close.
