So why did the Fallen want to activate the Harvester? I can't remember why. TF wiki has nothing besides recharging the AllSpark, which was kind of destroyed. It seems to me that the Fallen was going to use the Harvester simply because HE COULD, which is LAME, since it's a pretty pathetic reason.

 

To harvest Energon.

 

Turn machine on, sun gets destroyed, energon is retrieved from the explosion, energon is given to the cybertronians, the Transformers race survives.

i dont think they went to see a movie, i think they went with a little notepad and wrote down every little thing they didnt get or understand, whereas i simply went and enjoyed a great movie.

 

Exactly, some people that hated this movie are so damn picky, who the hell cares about a plot, unless your over 70 then you have exceptions.

 

i wish the movie was longer, hell, i could watch giant robots kicking each others ass all day long <3

 

He wanted to destroy the sun to get energon to raise the army but he did it on earth and not anywhere else because he hated earth, and destroying the earth would have in turn killed earth, so he would of had...... revenge!

He seeks revenge and has such hatred for humans, we did fuck all to him!! it was teh primes that stopped him not us, unless we just threw spears at his leg an he didnt notice and it got infected and he got really sick.. which i doubt...

 

Guys, it's really very simple:

Step 1: Steal the Sun's energy
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit

 

The Fallen wanted to harvest the sun and convert it's energy in Energon, what would be used to power up the Hatchlings on Saturn and recreate the Decepticon army to conquer the Universe.

 

As well as providing a source of Energon to sustain a new Decepticon army, I also think the Sun Harvester would have empowered the Fallen further.

 

Primes build Sun Harvesters to get energon, and give life to Transformers.
Primes have 1 rule. DON'T build one in area with life.
Fallen is one of those Primes.
Fallen doesn't care about non-transformer life. Fallen Wants to kill Humans.
Fallen builds it on Earth, because he hates us and doesn't care about other life forms.
Fallen gets his butt kicked because he tried to do it.

 

Yeah, movies don't need a plot! Whoever thinks they do is an idiot!

OR he might have had his heart broken by a human and well, we know how that goes. Everyone has to suffer because of the acts of one.

OR he might have had a future vision about "Candyman"

The Fallen did not do anything for thousands of years so he is just a slacker or an underachiever, and has no motivation whatsoever and prefers to watch TV forever.

 

What I want to know is, why the hell was the Harvester on Earth in the first place?

Like, out of all the planets, they choose the inhabited one by mistake?

And then proceed to build it without realising there was life?

 

The 7 Primes were probably only vacationing on earth but the Fallen never leaves home without the harvester and on a whim, decides to use the harvester on earth.
