Is this the final deco? Changes from Takara deco I've noticed: 1) Painted apps 2) Changed wing stripes 3) NO shoulder stripes 4) NO Chest stripes on the intakes 5) NO paint on the inside of the hip kibble 6) NO Forearm stripes 7) PURPLE tailfins, instead of black 8) SILVER shoulder spires, instead of black 9) ADDED paint apps on the inside of the shoulder spires 10) CHANGED missile deco -Also, the Right-side-up Decepticon insignia are inconsistent with WalScream; his were upside-down. Also, the wing stripe pattern is different; WalScream had the Takara MP-style wing stripes. All-in-all, the Takara version has a MUCH more elaborate deco. What the US version does have, though, are painted apps instead of decals, and added paint on the shoulder spires. The tradeoff seems negligible for Takara SW owners, since more deco is deducted than added.
MP Starscream was up on Wal-Marts website. ROTF Skywarp and Ramjet are on there now, as I write this.
I guess my searching skills are bad then. I searched for all transformers toys and the entire site and neither are there.
PASS. Already got Takara's version. However..... i might just maybe bite if its the price is not too high.
He's usually shown with MP-6's colors, in fact when the comic first came out, speaking to the colorist on the Allspark he said he purposely used MP-6's colors instead of a scheme more based on the G1 toy like this version. Surprisingly though this one retains the gray feet of MP-6 and the comic. Randy
Skywarp: Walmart.com: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen MV2 Skywarp: Action Figures Ramjet: Walmart.com: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen MV2 Ramjet: Action Figures That doesn't mean they will always be on there. If they're gone at some point, just check back every few days. Of course, any Wal-Mart exclusive is not rare, by the very nature. Wal-Mart has over 4,000 stores in the U.S., and while some stores may see little or none of an item, I've never had a problem finding a Wal-Mart exclusive. Between seeing them stockpiled at some stores, and the website, most everything is pretty accessable.
If you plan to take it out of the package, go for it. If you plan to keep it sealed, don't do it. There will be all types of labels all over your shit and you won't be able to remove them.
He's such a catch 22 for me. I love the mold and the colors, I'm not that willing to drop $59.99 on him though. Especially after Starscream was $48.88 and later rumored to be found at round abouts $30.00 on sale shortly after. I must confess his purple and black make me think of him as a Baltimore Ravens Transformer which is huge for me.
Yes there are a lot of changes. The Takara version was in line with the changes they made for their MP3 Starscream. The Hasbro version has a cartoon styled robot mode (minus the extra purple) with a G1 toy styled jet mode. Randy
