I don't understand why. And in ROTF, when Leo and Simmons are standing near that green Constructicon, why he doesn't transform and kill them?
It's a movie, and a Transformers movie at that - why did starscream miss every single missle he shot? Why didn't Megatraon just try and fire one shot at Sam in the forest, rather then chasing him ever so slow? And I don't think Long Haul killed them because he didn't know who they were, for all he knew Simmons and Leo could have been two residents of the area - I don't think he had come across them before.
this is one of those dumb question u can ask about every movie made... examples: TDK = why didn't Harvey just pull the trigger at the Joker and end the movie since a piss off person would've... LOTR = Why didn't Sauron send his army to help Saruman in the Two Tower seige and end the movie asap... Spidey 3 = Why can't Peter see that MJ is a slut after 3 movies....lol
True. But you'd think he could have atleast triued to wound him - doesn't take much to wound, and slow down us humans XD
This one actually has an answer. By the time the Joker has given him the gun and indeed placed it to his own temple, Harvey is gone, totally and utterly off his rocker. Indeed a sane man would have indeed pulled the trigger. Harvey Dent was NOT sane at that point.
They are not just more quiet in their alt modes in the movies, they just don't speak period. I agree with you, having them speak with each other in alt mode as well as the human characters could add story and character development to the movies. It worked in every other incarnation of Transformers, and Knight Rider as well, but I guess Bay and company think the general public is too dense to grasp the concept of hearing something speak without a moving mouth.
I was really disappointed that the Autobots didn't say anything and were just standing around in their alt-modes in the NEST hangar. You wanna save money on CGI? Pull off a Knight Rider. Or use their holograms. You could have any of the voice actors/random actor actually sit in the cars and talk with Lennox and others while they are in disguise. You save money and can give the Autobots the much needed character development.
This. The 'holoavatars as a means of interacting with humans' method worked beautifully in IDW's 'Infiltration' installment, and there's no reason why it can't be made to work on screen.
This. It'd be a ridiculously easy way to add character to the Autobots AND save money without having to CGI the robots. I think Bumblebee is the only one who has "talked" in vehicle mode, but then again, he was doing it through the radio.
