After he takes everyone to egypt and tells them about The Fallen and the machine and the matrix he just disappears and then he shows up at the end only to get his ass kicked by scorponok.
Does he actually give his spark to Prime or just his spare parts? I thought I saw him just pull out his spark to kill himself. Because without the spark, he died. And after he died, the parts can be now be used by Prime. And it was all Prime needed to beat The Fallen and Megatron
Jetfire says he'd only be slowing them down and he'll end up drawing the Decepticon's attention to him and the humans since he'd be this giant plane flying very slowly in the sky, where Starscream is hunting for the heroes hence he stayed behind. It would of worked better if executed better. it just looked like the writers didn't know how to work Jetfire into the rest of the story so they just tossed him aside. But yeah that's why he goes missing and returns at the end for the big fight, I assume he saw the explosions and realized they were found and decided to help them.
He mentioned to Prime to take his spark and he'll feel a power like no other, so I assume he took his spark, too.
this isn't what he's talking about. he's talking about right after they use the space bridge and jetfire isn't with them until the final battle
Uhh..Yeah he is with them after they use the space bridge...He is on an out cropping of rock talking about the primes and all.....This is also where the 'Hand' injury was written in...Sams hand is injured going through the bridge...No one seemed to catch that... After that he does what really old people do...Wonder off............:LOL!!!
He just sort of flyed around, I think to draw attention from the humans. He didn't really think he was needed anymore, but when he noticed stuff started happening near the horizon, he though "hot damn, I haven't fought for a good cause in years!" And came a ruinnin'. At least he went out happy. Jetfire, you were awesome.
