Arcee - she failed to take down Sideways and then later on she died. Everyone else did something slightly more useful than she did.
Agreed. Followed closely by Ratchet who doesn't get the spot because he had like two more whole lines then Arcee.
I'd say Ratchet, followed by Jolt. They both just felt shoe-horned in. At least Arcee and Sideswipe carried an action scene.
Aw, Ironhide helped out with Demolisher. I have that gun Ratchet was firing, and trust me, it only fires Nerf darts. Honestly? except for Prime and 'Bee, they were all pretty unnecessary. The girls could only sort of passive-aggressively hassle Sideways, Sideswipe just shuffled around aimlessly during the desert battle, Jolt was there to basically just take up empty space in the background, Ironhide's one useful moment saw him as the robotic equivalent of a cartoon banana peel, Ratchet was there to point his finger at Jolt and tell him to do something he'd already begun doing, and Jetfire was more useful dead than alive. The twins were the only useful supporting characters, since they found the Matrix and helped drive the humans around. Which is really pathetic now that I've quantified it like that..
Ironhide did do a little bit of shooting in the Forest after the autobots come to prime's aid. But Ratchet was just completely useless
Did Ironhide do any shooting at all during the final battle? I only saw him in truck mode once and then standing in robot mode (no firing) and then running away from an explosion in slow-mo That's all of Ironhide's scenes in the final battle At least Ratchet got to shoot at a mysterious foe that was off the frame of the camera
The part of the twins could have easily been filled by Jolt, Ratchet or Ironhide. Dumb and Dumber contributed NOTHING to the plot. Everything they did do could have been replaced with deserving TF1 returners or at least Jolt. Every thing they said could have been replaced by Chris Rock.
I enjoyed the twins. Call me immature but I don't care - I found their stupididity and randomnes funny. The twins egt my vote, as mentioned they try to stop sideways, don't even touch him and then get shot in the face in the desert. Atleast Ratchet was helping out in the desrt by constantly shooting (and reloading for that matter).
