Hey, can someone tell me if you need an online hookup for the PS3 to get the DLC?

I just looked up your PC on dell's website, and it looks as though it has an Intel GMA 3100 video card (or graphics card, or graphics accelerator - whichever term you want to use). It's not a particularly powerful card, but it is DirectX 9 capable.

What, specifically, is the error you're getting when you try to run the game?

You may want to update your graphics card driver. This is the software that allows your graphics card to work with your operating system (presumably Windows XP Professional). You can do this a few different ways. You can go to Dell's website and look up your PC under "Home" -> "Support and Drivers". There should be a driver for your graphics card there. You could go to Intel's website to see if you can find an appropriate driver, or you can run "Windows Update" from Internet Explorer (click "Tools" -> "Windows Update). You may see a driver listed in the "Hardware" section.

I'm not sure what the minimum specs for the game are, but it should say on the box. Please remember that "minimum specs" usually mean that it will run reasonably well on a lower detail setting. For better graphics, you may need a more powerful graphics card/CPU/memory, etc. The higher-end video cards can cost several hundred dollars, but you may be able to get something that's better than you have now for as little as $50-$75.

game says i need a 2.13 GHz processor (mine is only 1.64GHZ) and 1 gig of ram and i only have 256MB so i am returning the game 2 morrow...

I unistalled it but am going to reninstall to see what the error is . Will edit when done. thanks for you help

He did not give me a date and he specficially stated models for everyone and that Starscream and Ironhide would get their true G1 versions in the DLC. I will be talking to him again soon as he has challenged me to a Deathmatch with some of his co-workers. (Probably because there aren't too many people crazy abut this game and he legitmitely likes the game)

 

I agree with rattrap007, this is EXACTLY the reason I almost never play PC games anymore. There's always SOMETHING wrong with 'em. It may not make the game unable to run, but it may cut out/lock out every couple hours' worth of playing for whatever reason, have major bugs, graphic glitches, etc.

Do yourself a favor and instead of saving up for the next PC component, get a PS3 or 360 instead. No more "geez, will I finish this mission before the game locks up!?" moments.

No not really wow... Xbox 360 magazine offers DLC through their disc, and games like Fallout provide disc updates, so it's not that outlandish of a question.
