It was cool, though. More realistic.

Ravage's death kinda freaked me out though.

    It's hydraulic, not hydrolic.

He's Optimus Prime. You expect him to stay dead?

According to the show's creator, he had the influence of many Quentin Taratino's flicks for the series and guess who copies Taratino's style

I agree with Scantron...This is an all out war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Quite frankly I like seeing Prime and the other Autobots taking a direct approach to fighting the Decepticons. I loved it when Prime said, "Any Last Words?" Before blowing him away.

I really liked that after Megatron impaled Optimus, he then shot him too for good measure. It really reminded me of the IDW comic where Megatron gives Starscream his decepticon style punishment.

I did think it was weird that even though Megatron was supposed to be more powerful now thanks to his interaction with the allspark, that his gun was much less powerful than in the TF1, where one shot sent Optimus flying across an entire city block, and here it barely phased him. Also... in contrast, Optimus' gun was much more powerful this time round.

What? In the forest battle, Megs shoots his gun and that causes Prime to go flying across the forest, almost hitting Sam.

completely forgot about that. It certainly didnt do that everytime he shot someone. I remember him shooting Prime several times and it not having that same effect.

i always feel the autobots are alot more hydrolic thirsty in the movie universe. Optimus talks about how we have so much to learn and that, yet instead of capturing and detaining the decepticons he is actively hunting and killing them off.

if i was a decepticon i too would be all about destruction this and apocalypse that if i had the threat of a Autobot trying to slit my throat if i was having a nice stasis nap in my alt mode.

I thought it was good actually, very brutal. I can't imagine what a battlefield with a few thousand of these dudes on it would have looked like when the shooting stopped.
