so I realized that my original reply was too short...so here's my take on it

- The story line was good, I mean they show more of the transformers history on earth than the first one.
- Prime was awesome, and he is even more awesome after combining with Jetfire.
- Megatron was awesome too, his jet/tank alt. mode fits him perfectly.
- Soundwave IS AWESOME, I mean the guy just chillin there in space feeding info of the military satellite to the other decepticons.
- Devastator forming made my jaw drop...I loved Mixmaster's hood ornament...and the balls thing, made me LOL...
- I loved the twins...the Arcee bikes are cool too, but jolt barely gets screen time, I mean he was shown twice...
- The climax fight scene was mega   
- Megan Fox and the other girl (Alice)   

overall, I think the movie is better than the first one, my only complaints is why so many decepticons and so less autobots? I mean they got like what? 30 of them? and the autobots were only made up of what, 9?

 

The movie seemed a bit rushed, and many characters deserved more screentime (Jolt, Arcee sisters, Sideways, ect.), but I liked it overall.

 

Oh. Sooooo many G1 nods. When Sam blurts out "Sentinel Prime", the space bridge, energon, Megs bitch slapping Screamer, Wheelie having a strangely close attachment to a human character, the Matrix of Leadership, the sun harvester.

The only things that bothered me the most were that there were too many humans, not ennough robots; almost no character development for the robot characters. Also, the transition from needing to find the All Spark to needing to find energon was a little sloppy.

Oh, and Devistators balls: that was funny.



And atleast Bay kept up the tradition of killing Optimus.

Did anyone get that Animated homage? The Nemisis crashed on another planets moon, filled with protoforms?? Anyone at all???

 

i may be seeing things or is it barricade who kidnap sam's parents?......the heads looks like him....i may be wrong on this.......touching scene for me was when sam ask his parents to run (asking bumblebee to take care of them)...its like all the while his dad is putting up a front (like when sam goes to college...he's all cool and calm) but in reality he doesn't want to let go of sam.......i still pretty much loved the 1st one...but this one kicked a**.......just hope that sideswipe has more screen time!

 

Very disapointed in my opinon a waste of time. It had its moments, but alot of pointless scenes that didn't make sense. Hatchlings and Alice character? Only real plus they showed Soundwave and Ravage even though it was brief. I liked the first movie way better.

 

Great movie, WAAY better than the 1st!

Only complaints: That Terminatrix, an the lil Ravage ball things merging into razors with an eye.

Prime kicked so much ass! The twins, Acree, Sideswipe were all great!!! Only a lil screen time, but enough to not be pissed. Jolt looked cool but we only see a few glimpses of him, wish we had more. The was a really good amount of robot screen time. Jetfire got alot of dialog, that was nice.

The Decepticons were cool. Megs and SS got alotta scenes. I wish there was a bit more Longhaul action! Devastator was great! All the returning humans were great this time!

The fights were over all waaay better than the 1st. The shots were pulled back more, less shaky cam, more slowmotion!!! The FX were amazing! I loved this movie!!!

 

Did John Tuturro say "I wear this when I want to fuck" in the jock strap scene?

I swear that's what I heared.

 

I think that was just that one Protoform who looks identical to Barricade/Blackout/The Fallen/Soundwave, etc.

 

I saw the midnight Imax showing last night under the Space Needle. I thought the movie was a massive improvement, ESPECIALLY regarding Megatron and Starscream. While Megatron was definitely a bit more subordinate this time around, I liked how he seemed more sentient and less monstrous, and he's fully capable of making mistakes like his G1 counterpart. Especially his banter with the very cowardly Starscream. They seemed more like Decepticons in the G1 vein and less like monstrous aliens.

And hah, Devastator's balls cracked me up.

Seeing it at midnight tonight again. Hoorah!

BULL SHIT when I pay 30 bucks for a movie I want a GOOD movie. This film was a straight to DVD sequel. it was that bad. I have watched the first film 8 times and there is no way I could do that with this movie. Its CALLED TRANSFORMERS FOCUS ON THE ROBOTS, there characters and cool transformations not scrotum jokes, humping dogs, a mans ass, and Megan Fox's cleavage even though it was nice.

 

I saw the movie at 12:20pm today and it was awsome, two thumbs up   

 

Seen the movie twice so far, once IMAX & once regular. Loved it again, second viewing made me enjoy even more.

I'll see it again for a 4th & 5th time because I have free passes for any movie and well TF's is the only movie I cared about this year.

 

Went and saw it after work today and thought it was good. My biggest dissapointment was with myself, for reading the spoilers and watching the trailors to much, kind of ruined the suprise.

ever u all notice the kitchen robot some of them looks like the fallen and optimus prime.? loveeeeeeee the movie but still robots need more screen time.
