Okay, I thought so...well I saw the movie today but this morning I was worried because I read all the reviews and stuff about it, but after seeing it I have to disagree with most of the negative reviews. NOW this is MY opinion and I hope you all respect mine as well as I will/have respected yours.
So for all the funny parts I think that some were inappropriate and un-called for, for example when wheele was having fun with Mikela's leg. But other than the "funny" parts I think that the movie was well done (story and characters) although the diolouge could have been better. The animations were also very cool, and the battle scenes were a lot clearer than the first for example the Barricade vs Bumble Bee scene in the first one compaired to the battle against Bumble Bee and that other robot in the desert. Also I really liked the interaction between Megatron and Starscream, it really reminded me of G1. I really liked this movie it was very good I would give it a 9 out of 10 to be honest.
P.S, Was it just me or did Scalpel have a slight German mad scientist voice?

im really surprised Hasbro let some of those "jokes" slide by, considering this is aimed to sell a kids line...

man, that 10 minutes or so of military montage and control room banter got old reeeeeal fast.

 

Just like in the first one, there was a couple of MotherF.... but they don't quite complete the word for PG-13 sakes

But in the world of PG-13 you are allowed to drop one F-bomb as long as it is a general curse like damn or shit. Or you can add it as emphasis to a word such as in Armageddon, Billy Bob Thornton says "You fucking know it!!"

That's allowed.

So I am pretty positive I heard Wheelie say "This place is a fucking house of horrors"

Maybe he said frickin but the fact that he sounded like Joe Pesci made it sound alot like fucking

 

I loved the movie! More action and plot. ^^ I don't know if it was only at my theater or something, but they threw movie adaptation comics at us. It was just up until Megatron's resurrection and wasn't exactly movie-accurate, but still. ^^

I have to watch it again for it to really stick, though. I'm sure I wasn't 100% awake until the second half of the movie. Prime dying shocked me at first, I wasn't expecting it, then I figured he had to come back because he still had to combine with Jetfire and coming back to life is what Optimuses do. xP

The only things I can remember that I didn't like about the movie were A) What happened to Wheelie? and B) What was up with Devastator? There were Constructicons running around while he was combined. So does that mean the Constructicons don't really combine and it's just a bunch of random vehicles?

I don't know if I was the only one silently cracking up when they introduced Jetfire as the old forgetful cane dude. But he was awesome. ^^

And Alice was f'ing scary. My little 11 year old brother agrees. xD

Was there any hint towards the third movie during the credits? (like in the last one with Starscream flying away)

 

I'm not sure she did. Dropping the f-bomb is an automatic R-rating if I remember correctly.

Wheelie said friken, but durring the scene where they are trying to bring Sam back Mikela says "Somebody f***ing do something"

 

I liked it better than the first, given you can tolerate the high school jokes the first film had. Otherwise, I definitely enjoyed the fight scenes, Wheelie (sans leg humping scene) and the dialogue between Megs and Screamer'.

I expected Prime to be brought back to life, but everyone in my theater was clapping when he came back.

so far a 21% out of 100% on rotten tomatoes. thats terrible. is the movie really this bad? come on now.

I'd say see it yourself, form your own opinion, and don't rely on the reviews too much. I too, was worried about it with the negative reviews, but after seeing it with my own eyes, I liked it better than the first. And the rest of the theater I was in seemed to love it.

If you're still that worried, just see the matinee discounted version.

Wow, it's dropping? I understand the critics would never love it, but I didn't think it would go that low. The crowd was very enthusiastic after my showing.

 

QFT. SOME of the criticisms this film are getting are way overblown, IMO.

I honestly could care less what critics say about a movie. For real. If I like it, I like it. The entire theater I was at would disagree w/ a 21% rating.
