I don't know, tickets are mad expensive. Its almost easier for me to wait for it to come out in the redbox and rent it for a dollar then spend like 30-40 bucks at the movies. Thats almost 3 deluxes. Man I need a better paying job.

Good movie, except for a few things. Also Alice or whatever her name was, is probably the most useless character I've ever seen. Though I did think she was pretty fucking sexy.

I really enjoyed the movie. I went to the midnight showing, and the projector had broken. So the manager of the theater came in and gave us the option of leaving or staying. He told us if we left we would get a TWO vouchers for ANY free movie of our choice, but if we staid itd would take up to an hour and half for the projector to be fixed. I happened to go with friends from out of town so they wanted to stay. So we all got up to leave, they gave all 8 of us our vouchers, and we "left". Five minutes later we returned to the theater and waited for the projector to be fixed. So basically I got 16 free movie vouchers for the price of 1 ticket AND i got to see the movie.

Second to getting the 16 free passes, that forest scene was my favorite part of the movie. I really hated all parts of the film that involved any humans talking. Though Shia LaBeouf screaming like a girl was pretty funny.

I think the biggest disappointment for me was the fact that all of the deceptions were all the same 3 or 4 designs. There were like 18 Longhauls, and 25 protoform megatrons. Devastator was weak. He reminded me of Venom in spiderman 3. Useless.

Overall I thought the movie was great, and I will see it again. Definitely in IMAX though. I read that Optimus is Life size in the Forest scene if you see it at IMAX, that will be cool to see.

I saw it last night. The battles were pretty impressive. It'd be nice to get more non-battle robot time. Interactions like those between Megs and Starscream, only on the Autobot side, would be greatly appreciated. That said, I don't dislike it. I just think there could have been a better balance of battle/non-battle robot scenes.

And the go-nowhere government liason guy plot? Die. At the end Prime just babbles off, again, "hey everybody, come on down" without finding out if the government goons are OK with it or not. Completely out of character for him to be honest.

The college scenes are every bit as tedious as I feared. The robo-action was spectacular. The search for the Matrix drug a bit. Simmons was hysterical. And Devastator's balls weren't nearly as offensive as I thought they would be.

All in all, it's good. Not exactly the movie I hoped for, but not a complete piece of trash as others have claimed.

For the record, Sam's parents didn't just magically appear in the desert as some have said. You clearly see them being abducted in Paris several scenes earlier.

A good time. I will be seeing it again.

ETA: Most painful line ever: "This is just like Hogwarts." Or however that's supposed to be spelled. Really? Come on.

    Prime's best quotes:
"Then I shall fight all of you"
    "Give me your face!"
and my favorite quote from Lennox:
"Not now, you're still in the plane dumbass!"

Bonecrusher is seen in more than just vehicle mode. He pops in and kills Arcee.
I really didn't get the deal with reusing the same robot models without explanation and I don't get why Devastator was made up of other vehicles identical to Longhaul, Mixmaster, Rampage, and Demolisher while those bots were fighting another battle.

After seeing the movie, I now know why Ultimate Class Devastator transforms like a Megazord. And as such, I won't be harsh on the figure anymore. It's bought. I still think it's kind of silly to have multiples of Mixmaster, Long Haul, and Rampage, but it worked okay, I thought. And technically, other than Mixmaster, Long Haul, and Rampage...none of the other Constructicons had a name, a face, or even a line to be spoken. (Neither did the three named ones, but at least they had some screen time.)

I still love the movie, even after some time to process all of it. :D  And Prime splitting Grindor's face in two was just fuckin' brutal. (I liked it. lol)

Prime owning Grindor was the single best scene in the movie.

It did seem strange to me that the Decepticons did everything they could to kill Sam even though they needed him.

Sad to think that the whole Egypt battle and plot of the movie could have been avoided if they never found the harvester key (I can't bring myself to call it the matrix anymore) since A - The Fallen didn't know where it was and B - it disintegrated anyway.

people keep talking like there were gaping holes and big things left unexplained and characters not done justice. when you see it you realize that people are thinking too hard about it. no one seems cheated of screen time so much because there are tons of tf and they DO NOT pass up an opportunity to kill eachother. i liked it.

Just got back from my 2nd viewing of the movie... took today off to recover from last night's midnight showing, and decided to go watch it again.

What happened with the first movie for me, happened with #2... I enjoyed it EVEN MORE watching it a 2nd time, because I could pick up on the things I missed during the first viewing thanks to the movie's breakneck speed. I have a feeling this one will move up the charts in enjoyment each time I watch it.

    Autobot/transformers heaven,

Ok people i don't understand why you guys think he went to heaven..first of know your history in the cartoons.

remember return of optimus prime 2 part episode? prime went inside the matrix to fight a cure/solution to the anger plague? same thing in this story thats why the matrix came back to a solid piece. get it??

he might have died for a bit but not to any heaven. he went inside the matrix of leadership

Ok . . . that movie left the worse taste in my mouth. I sat in my seat as the credits rolled by and I said to myself "that ending was rushed."

Holly hell that was a GREAT MOVIE!!! I have to laugh because the actual "revenge of the fallen" lasted a whole 10 seconds, but all it did was make me want so much more of the Bay-Formers.

Here are the best things about this movie . . .

-Finally OP kicks some major ass and is no longer a wuss. How many of us were upset from the first movie when OP just gets tossed around like a rag doll? Now he's taking on like 3 cons at once?

-The love story between Sam and Mikaela. Ok, ok, ok . . . I'm sure everyone is going to disagree with me on this one, but I thought it was great. I love a little romance thrown into the action and this was perfect.

    - The G1 references. I'll keep it short on this one because I feel this movie isn't about G1, I just love seeing things put in their that I think are designed to remind people of G1 such as Sam's little visit by the Primes. I totally got a glimpse of OP going into Vector Sigma back in the 80's.

There's a ton of things to be proud about this movie. It could have been done better, but something this big isn't going to be done perfect. I'll deal with the ending being rushed because it makes me want more. Bay made me a fan yet again with this one.

The Decepticons only needed him to find the Matrix. Or a Seeker. Otherwise, he was dead to them.

I don't know why you're opposed to calling it the Matrix of Leadership. It apparently contained all of the ancient knowledge that the Allspark had.

It wasn't strange for them to have the intent to kill Sam. They really only needed his brain. They could've easily beheaded him, pull the brain out and scan it in detail and then throw him in the trash.

I didn't see any gaping plot holes, really, but there were some issues with the unexplained.

Jolt (where did he come from, where did he go?)

Grindor (same as Jolt, though we know his demise.)

Arcee ("Arcee" and the unnamed bike are killed, leaving "Chromia" alive. They should've made it clear that Arcee is one mind over three components, and that she's still alive, but they didn't. The component bikes only have names to sell toys, but all three are Arcee.)

Beyond that, not a big deal. I thoroughly enjoyed the film. I was stunned by that, and I still am.

I looked through the thread and have yet to see a response, so I'll ask again...

Does Megatron's tank mode (after the factory, before the forest) have wings on it like the Voyager Class toy does? Or does he look like the Leader Class toy? It all happened so fast, I couldn't really get it sunk in.

Oh and to those of you who've seen the IMAX version...does Jolt have more screen time?

C'mon Bay. Please, please release a Director's Cut of the film when it hits DVD and Blu-Ray, with all of the scenes intact, none of this "enter a code online to see deleted scenes!" shit. Just give us the damned movie.
