    YES

That's the prime I wanted to see in the first one. Total badass. I really liked it.

I didn't read the whole thread, so this may have already been said.

The Devastator and Constructicon toys make so much sense now. Other than Mixmaster, none of the components of Devastator ever transformed to individual modes. After Devastator was taken down, Mixmaster joins the main fight and we still do not see any of those components. Rampage and Longhaul were never part of him.

Now here is my question for anyone who knows. Were the other components of Devastator even Transformers to begin with? Or did Mixmaster just assimilate nearby equipment?

Pretty, loud, plot-free fluff. Can't say I loved it at all.

Great FX, and that's about it. Didn't get (or stay) attached to any characters, continuity sucked, and so loud I almost never understood dialogue.

Ugh. Did these people do any f*%ing research of ANY kind?

In IMAX, we see that Devastator is made up of much more than 6 or 7 Constructicons.

He had to be at around 8-12 Constructicons. Just 1 Constructicon alone formed 1 of his hands, not even counting how ever many formed the arm that it attached to.

And there were also a bunch of other Constructicons that were never involved in the combination running around alone. All of these guys were the stand alone non-combining figures we are getting in the ROTF toyline. Mixmaster even used his 3rd cannon mode!

We never see the robot modes of the Constructicons that form Devastator, only vehicles. And any robot mode Constructicons that we do see are the stand-alone non-combining guys. So the ROTF toyline's Deluxe & Voyager Constructicons and the $100 Devastator are in the most basic of sense, film accurate to what they do. Now we know why the Constructicon toys are the way they are.

They were Transformers. There was just multiples.

The Mixmaster which got assimilated into Devy had the Decepticon logo on him, and the Decepticon hood ornament, so he was definitely a Transformer. But later you see another Mixmaster fighting Jetfire...

Okay, page 193 or 4 it is... What's to say? Good to see the bots in action again. Loved the military part. Not enough time spent on character development with the Autobots...AGAIN...entirely TOO much time spent on stupid, juvenile, vulgarities. What happened to all the other Autobots? Just how did Optimus become or even know he was a Prime? (yes, I have read the comics.) Damn too many humans. Feeling a bit let down by poor writing. Really guys, you need to work on how to develope your characters better. You too Michael!

Absolutely loved it. The writing, the plot, the humor, the acting, the effects, THE VOICES, the action... everything I was expecting in this kind of movie.

I was really confused about the Constructicons though. First of all why was Rampage red? If they make a repaint I'm gonna be pissed... 'cause I'm gonna buy it =P. But what a previous poster said makes sense, the individual Constructicons don't combine, and those were just random construction vehicles I guess? It was confusing when I saw it, 'cause they were fighting in that city, and then it would cut to Devastator on the pyramid and I was thinking "wait... weren't his limbs JUST in that city..??".

I loved that Scorponok was there, even though he got pwned ='(

Probably my favorite thing about this movie was Frank Welker as Soundwave. It was simply amazing. It took a couple seconds to register that it was him, because I was expecting it to be heavily synthesized. And I'm glad he got more than one line (which, after his first line, I thought "Oh man, I hope gets to speak more, now that I realize it's him!")

I didn't think Megan Fox could get any hotter than in the first movie :thumbs2:

Loved that Simmons had the head of Frenzy.

    Where was Barricade??

That one robot towards the end looked a lot like Bonecrusher.

Was that Blackout? For whatever reason I thought he got killed in the first one.

I saw it... I didnt like the reuse of the same robots in the same scenes but in two different places. Also didn't like how Megatron was a servant to the fallen, yes hes powerful, but he's megatron for god sake, lastly lack of robot character time like soundwave, sideswipe, jolt, ratchet, and the list continues. As a whole it was a good movie with some unexplained holes in it.

Yeah this movie was great in the action department, not so much in about every other department. I love (hate) how Arcee is seen several times, and is named several times but it is never clear which one is Arcee, if they are all Arcee, if Arcee dies. The average viewer is gonna hear Lennox saying "Ironhide you and Arcee go do this" and not know who Arcee even is. I am just unsatisfied with this movie. There are some amazing action scenes, but that is about all I can say I really loved about this movie. There are other things I liked but not much. At the end of the movie it seems like any robot that didn't get out was killed by the freakin military! But they never make a point to show the surviving autobots. I won't even get started on the massive ammounts of recycled bots. Bottom line is this movie is not great from a fans point of view, and I don't think the average person is going to leave feeling satisfied either.

Ok i know most ppl will not see this and less will, but let me say that was the worst abortion of any movie sequel i was excited to see. I am not a G1 purist, but that movie was made so far up the a** of the writers and Americans greed---$$$$$$. that is what this movie was made not for the fans surely not for us. Hell most of us have soaked 25 years of our lives into toys, comics, games, every little thing that gets put out and for what. For ppl to come and ruin it, i know i cant put spoilers here. I may not be the greatest writer in the word hell i may not even begin to writer a book or a novel, but i sure know that myself or almost anyone on this site could write a better story for the transformers. I will only be seeing this movie 1 more time in Imax to get the full experience, of why i have no idea. But last time around i saw it 4 times and 1 more time in Imax and i can say proudly that i love the first movie compared to this one. And i hope this movie gets put on DVD sooner then later, so i can rip it to my hard and crop out almost all the garbage that this movie was. I think ill trim it down to about an hour of my time and say it was alot better movie.

Please do not quote me and write a reply in this thread as i will not be looking at this anymore. If you wish to bash or praise me for what i have written here, please send me a PM. I would be glad to hear what you think about me now.

P.S. come find me on Xbox live and play me in transformers multiplayer, its the only thing that makes this movie worth talking about.
