Top notch as always man! I will be using this as a template as soon as I get to repainting mine! I personally love the added touches you gave him, and the realism that it gives the figure is phenomenal. The "metals" you use are beautiful!

Wow thanks for replying to everybody :)

Yeah those on his head. I checked my reference pic and the color of his antennae depends on what pics you look at.

My first attachment shows some glint of silver coloring on the sides of his antennae. The second attachment does not. The third (screencap from the movie) seems to have silver antennae, while the fourth attachment does not.

There seems to be no reliable closeup pic of Prime's head to the side so we can see the actual color layout, but I suppose that they made the voice-changing helmet somewhat color-accurate. :)

Okay, that was way too much effort to discuss the color of Prime's antennae. :lol

Thanks for those. Okay, the back of the head on mine has a little too much gray/silver. It's amazing how they got even those little details right on the new figure.

Yeah, with those flames on his blue rib panels, too!

One more little detail, on those upward pointing triangular thingies on his shoulders, there are small square-ish panels which need to be blue according to screencaps, while other CGI reference pics show them to be red. You haven't painted them on yours yet. :)

Looking at the wheels, they do look a tad big but I think they add SO much more than they detract from this figure.

I wonder if it's possible to make the sectional wheels that feature on the CG model.

the only criticism I offer is that the parts that you left as factory red don't match what is painted red there's a texture difference on the pics which may not be evident in person. Otherwise great job! I like the enthusiasm of the community tackling all the new figures.

W00p first post! Nice to meet the community. I painted my transformers, but I'm afraid they're too shabby, so I'm embarassed to show anything xD

    Anyhoo,

F_R, I absolutely love to look at your work, the Devestator you did with Sabrina Ng was mesmerizing!

    Question though:
I have a broken Nightwatch Prime, which broke in half while painting =/ , so I want to use it's wheels, and switch it out with ROTF Prime's, but how did you swap out those wheels? the pins are in a socket, rather than poking out the other end...

Or if anyone else can answer the question, big thanks.

That is a great question actually. I have a busted movie Prime. I didn't even think about using his wheels until you asked.

    Wow Mike. Wow.

So, do any of the small mods to Prime and I'm sure the few small mods you made to Jetfire impact the combination at all?
