And because no stores around me carry PC games anymore... I had to buy the game at EB games (ewww...)

I am very curious why this game is HALF the price of it's PS3 and 360 counterparts. I mean, if the only difference is the price, then... thats awesome! Another point for PC gaming.

You know, you don't act like a scientist. You're more like a game show host.

I want to play as Stay Puft or Slimer which store has that?

I have a Wii, a PS2, and an old XBox. So I had no choice but to get a game with cartoony Ghostbusters. I like that the cartoony games are 2 player, so my wife and I can bust ghosts together, but it bothers me to know there's a version of the game out there where the guys look just like they did in the 80s - but I can't have it because I own a Wii. I constantly feel like I'm being punished for being a Wii owner (the ROTF game next week is more cartoony for the Wii, Wii doesn't get RE5, so on and so on...)
I think I'm going to get this on the PC too for the realism aspect. Does anyone know, are PC games limited to keyboards, or can I play via a USB port controller?
Bitching that I have the Wii version aside, this game is an absolute BLAST. I'm addicted.

Read Boardwise's link on the PC game, because you might want to rethink the PC version and enjoy the Wii version. How is the multiplayer on the Wii for GB anyway?

I haven't got on multiplayer yet, just played 2 player with my wife. I'll check it out in a little bit and report back on it.

Cool because I know the wii and PS2 versions have similar elements and I wouldn't mind picking it up if the two player mode is good.

Hey, wait a minute. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Hold it! Now, are we actually gonna go before a federal judge, and tell him that some moldy Babylonian god is going to drop in on Central Park West, and start tearing up the city?

I've been playing it for a while now, and I love it too. The game captures the whole feel of the movies, from the dialogue to the effects of the ghosts and the proton packs. The feeling from wrangling each ghost and trapping it is awesome.
Another thingis scanning the extra items in the environment and reading the history behind each one! Just another extra that adds to the game.

Hey, which way do these stairs go?

edit: I just want to let you guys know that up until this point I had resisted picking up the bluray today. I just bought the game, have Transformers next week, Dream Theater's new album comes out next week and I just bought Iron Maiden's new BluRay, so I needed to hold off on spending, but all these damn lines broke the wall, and now I have to pick it up after work.

This game ROCKS, I got the Wii version and I've already played for nearly three hours. Couldn't drag myself away until now, I don't care if it is more cartoony or what because I got's me Ghostbusters 3 ya'll! BOOYAH!

I believe it almost took two decades just to get it too, or over two decades, it's nice to hear the dialogue from these guys but is it just me or is Venkman a little blaze at it were, sounds like Bill Murray was just reading off the pages of a script and channelling Garfield or something. Then again it could just be me.

Probably play some more after supper, gotta bust some more spooks, spectres and free floating phantasms. I do have one curious oddity though, why is the Vigo painting in the basement as is? At the end of GB2 it turned from Vigo into a portrait of the Ghostbusters and baby Oscar??? Although it is an interesting nod to the second film. :D  :D  :thumb

Rented it this afternoon and have been playing it for a few hours. I love it! This feels like a full blown Ghostbusters 2.5. Everybody but Murray sounds like they're into it. Scrapper6 is right, Murray just sounds like he's reading his lines and cashing his paycheck. I guess that's fine by me, I just want to bust some ghosts!
