    Yes. The PS3 was one of the first BD-Live players on the market.

    Blu-ray Live content will not work unless you install an SD card (not included) into the player. Nowhere in the manual does it tell you this and unfortunately, Blue-ray discs do not provide a useful error message explaining why the Live content is not accessible
    .....
    well i guess im fucked for now........

    Your PS3 has a hard drive. It doesn't need an SD slot. I'm pretty sure he was talking about standalone BD players.

    Yes, the PS3 is a Blu-Ray player, but I'm not getting the new footage. How do you update it?

    It won't if it's a 20GB, 40GB, or the new 80GB.

    That will work.

    tried the hard drive? All I do is start up the Bluray movie disc, go to EXTRAS, then select BD-Live which is under transformers HUD, then it just shows me;

    1 Intelligence Mode
    2.TRansformers profiler
    3. menubots
    4. Robot Ninjas

    that's it, I'm signed in, this is REALLY pissing me off

    i have a 160 GB Hard drive in my PS3 so I won't need the SD card or flash drive, I thought you meant there was a prob with BD live where you needed an extra SD card in it.

    i think I know the problem, you have to delete the Transformers cache info on your PS3 first, try that and see if it works

    EDIT: THAT WORKED!!!! On the Game slot when you first start up your PS3, the is a BD cache slot, delete the transformers stuff there.

    ok, the new content can not be downloaded but can be streamed. so i guess a sd card would be useless since you can't download anything new.

    for anyone who is having a problem viewing the new content, you need to delete the prior transformers BD cache Info first, once you do that, start the disc and the content will be there.
