Ummmmm, it IS about Transformers, which were popular in the 80's. Not to mention that I feel your expectations may be a tad too high of this "film". It will not change the way we view cinema. It will not challenge us to see the world in a whole new way.

What it WILL do is have lots of robots, most of whom will not even have any lines, running/driving/flying around and blowing shit up. AND there will be Pepsi billboards, and GM logos plastered ALL over the place. And Megan Fox will be slutty-hot. It's a summer blockbuster, NOT Schindler's List.

 

God, what has TFW become...seems like 3/4 of the people that have joined the community since the film was announced in production come from #chan.

Yeah, there is supposed to be some war between the two factions, but most the time we only see 5 on 5 battles and the like. TFs need more nameless cannon fodder.

Traditionally, two sides of up to 10 individuals, usually the same ones every time unless one has a new feature they want to show off, will stand on opposite sides of a ravine and fire lasers at each-others feet for five minutes. Eventually someone gets knocked over and that side retreats back to base.
