We know by now that Arcee is indeed 1 single motorcycle. So when she combines with the other biker fembots, it's more along the lines of Jet-Optimus, rather than Devastator, right? Because Devastator behaves like a singularity, whereas Jet-Optimus is more like a super powered Optimus.

I guess I'm asking if my interpretation is valid. Is it?

 

I actually think it is more like Devastator, because in the comics, they all share the same mind, even when they are seperated.

 

If that's true, what's the point of having 2 "things" be called Arcee?

 

I think that technically they are all Arcee, she's one mind that controls three bodies which can also combine. The naming of the blue bike Chromia, and whatever the purple bike will be named is simply something that is applied to the toys to make buyers aware they are separate figures and not simple reworkings of the same character a la Cannon Bumblebee etc.

 

Ah. I see. That's kinda disappointing. It basically says "there's really just 1 fembot", and wipes out the majority of them in the process. Heck, I can't think of any more fembots except Elita One.

 

The movie might go with the toys in having a separate personality for each motorcycle which I find easier to understand. I heard that in the movie, the 3 motorcycles won't combine. In the trailer, I see 3 separate robots chasing a Decepticon car.

 

Yeah, but it's not like you'd expect them to be combined through the whole movie. But I also hope they are individual characters, and not "ghosts" of Arcee.

 

No room for females in war........like bay said Arcee will die weather its all 3 of the bikes or just the pink 1.

 

I guess Bay hasn't seen Aliens, or Terminator 2.

 

Important to correct you:

Bay NEVER refered to Arcee as a combiner in that MTV interview. He refered to her as the pink bike.

1) she is RED not pink.
2) we now know she is a 1 mind-3 bike-bots.

The question is: whether she will combine or not ? All points out Arcee IS a combiner from that image in the comic movie adaptation.

His comments were misinformation to see what would be the fan reaction.

Well from the point i see it is at the moment at least half the cons die.

If NONE of the autobots (Apart from prime and jetfire) die then i can see this movie turning out worse then the first one.
Should of called it Transformers2 - Revenge of the Wimps.

Arcee/Jolt will bite the dust.

 

Yeah I think she will die because some Autobots have to. Most likely she will in the beginning and it will set the tone for what the decepticons can do. Probably more die at the end.
