Revenge of the Fallen Wheelie & Sideways Two-Pack to be Released in Select International Markets - Transformers News

 

Bleh.. this is totally bland. Most '07 Movie packaging atleast had some sort of background in the toy box. This is just a plain waste of cardboard. From the looks of it, it's better for the international marketeers to just buy Wheelie and Sideways separately.

The number of variants for ROTF is already insane.

Er.. it looks exactly like every other ROTF package...

 

Is it me or this Sideways looks darker?

 

That's kind of an odd pair up for a two pack.

Would make more sense to me to package Sidways with Sideswipe. Call it the Opposing Sides set.

 

Ya i was thinkin that too looks like a gunmetal grey almost black in that pic .... could just be the pic..

 

Funny thing is about repackages... a lot of us would re-buy stuff like this if there was even a minor change in deco on the figures. A battle-damage wash on Sideways or a slightly darker color on Wheelie and I would have gone for these.

 

I'm sorry but these 2 guys together are just so so bland

Also I have a bad feeling for us UK fans. I think this 2 pack will replace the Ratchet BB 2 pack as the shelf warmer for this year

Is Wheelie's Autobot sigil purple?

 

He has a faction switch gimmick. I guess they've got him set to Decepticon.

Unusual choice of characters for a two pack. But maybe there is a reason they are being shipped together. Perhaps Sideways & Wheelie have a connection like Barricade & Frenzy? Granted, their bios make it sound doubtful, and there's the small issue of a certain spoiler in the adaptation, but maybe there is a backstory to them.

 

Why Wheelie and Sideways? Why not Sideswipe and Sideways? They're rivals!!

 

The fact that they didn't bother to alter Wheelie's art suggests they didn't exactly rack their brains to come up with this set.

 

anyone notice that Sideways little wings r gone now?? something looks different about his body also its looks a little odd

I have a feeling though Wheelie is going to be Sideways' little minion kinda like Barricade did with Frenzy in the first film

 

wings are almost certainly just folded down.

I think one of the bigger issues here would be that wheelie can't be much taller than Sideways shins in the movie.

I have to say I was mildly intrigued by wheelie until I found out how big he is. Considering that he's not especially great looking, the size is ridiculous.

This of course has little to do with the odd pairing except that I already have Sideways and probably wouldn't buy him with Wheelie unless I was having a hard time finding him otherwise (which isn't currently an issue- but I definitely want to buy everything I can get my hands on before the movie opens in case we get a repeat of last time).

 

Hopefully it released in the U.S. That would be awesome!
