I'm interested in finding one and I'd like to know where I aught to be looking. Does one store have them more often than another? Has anyone found the darker Sideways yet?

I guess I'm not getting the appeal of this figure. Aside from the non-moving head (which can be modded, I know), he's staring at you from the cockpit! It just feels like poor design to me...

 

I saw both versions at Target this weekend. As for the darker Sideways, I forgot about that when I was in store so I didn't really look for it. Haven't looked into which one I have either. The darker Breakaway does look better imo though, just didn't want to buy 'em all at once, so left the few they had at the store and got Sideswipe and -ways instead.

 

I dunno. I'm kind of the opposite. After so many similar looking jet/seeker modes where the head/face is at the top of the nosecone, this mold is kind of refreshing. I find Breakaway to be quite adorable and even broke my "NO ROTF toys except Soundwave" rule for him.

 

I personaly don't care what Breakaway's main color is (regardless of the brown, he's still got those weird green stripes on plane top), all I know is that I want him! He reminds me of Captain Rex from Star Tours...

 

I guess it's ok. I still like the beige.

 

I haven't even noticed any differences in their colors if there was any. Next time I'm in one of my local Walmarts or TRU ill check more carefully.

Personally I'd just get the Takara version, scouting all around might turn out to be a big waste of time.

I found one tonight in the first place that I looked which was a Target. Now I'm on the hunt for Darkwise.  

 

I found at least four Brownaways at my local Target. I absolutely love the figure, but it looks like he might get GPS somewhere down the line. I'm not sure about this though.
