Same here, always got me off the seat as a kid cause you never knew who you were going to get. Shame they never had more pods crash on screen. Always got a little sad when the Maximals lost the pod, especially for Inferno cause he was so darn awesome but I guess the funny lines wouldn't have been as great on the Maximal side.

But as for the question of the topic, would the whole series count? There were so many highlights of the series watching it as a kid growing up with the show, but rewatching it as a teenager now I get the "other" jokes the writers threw into the show, stuff that made me go o__O" as a kid like:

Rattrap: "So, uh, Where ya' been, bird-dog?"
Silverbolt: "Uh, scout patrol..."
Rattrap: "Oh, yeah, yeah, scoutin' the enemy, heh heh. So...find any new positions?"

 

Too many to list, but most of which have been covered already in this thread. Still, if I had to pick only one scene, it would be Ravage at the end of "The Agenda, Pt. 2":

"Decepticons forever!", followed by the classic G1 transforming sound... I pretty much made a mess in my pants the first time I saw that scene!

 

Transmutate: "Friend good... Friend dark... I am hurt."

Optimus Primal: "Cheetor and I will take care of Rampage..."
Silverbolt: "No, let him be. For the moment... we are brothers."

Amen. "Transmutate" stands as one of my favorite TF episodes of all... Very powerful, emotional stuff for what was supposed to be a 22-minute toy commercial.

 

I loved the episode "Code of a Hero", the whole thing was awesome.

"The Agenda (part 3)" It's the same thing you've seen a million times before. The Maximals are all working feverishly to get into the Ark to stop Megatron. He goes into a long monologue, so you just know he's going to be stopped at the last possible second, where if he just skipped the speech and did what he came to do, he would - wait - holy crap he DID succeed!!

I finally realized where I think I saw this pose of Optimus Primal and Air Razor from Low Road before. It reminds me of this sort of art by Earl Norem.

Since it's been revived, Beast Wars Megatron hovering over the stasis locked body of Optimus Prime, saying his amazing speech, and firing upon Prime.

 

The conversations between Ravage and Megatron in 'The Agenda, part 2'. I know it seemed very simple, but the revelations and insight into both characters was great. I still go on record as saying all three parts of 'The Agenda' are some of the finest animated television ever.

 

Tarantulus' surprise attack: "Dieeeeee, Maximalllzzzzzz!"

Always makes me laugh.

 

Absolute no brainier for me...when Optimus Prime briefly reawakens after his spark is returned and he and Primal stare at each other for a moment.

Fantastic scene.
