Arcee & Devastator to be Ignored in ROTF Toy Sublines?

I was thinking about the recent leaks of Legends and Fast Action Battler toys for the ROTF toyline, and it made me think that Arcee and Devastator, whose robots are (I assume) formed of multiple vehicles, run the risk of being greatly ignored.

I can't imagine seeing a FAB combiner, since the whole point of that line is to make things as simple as possible. They could make a large non-transforming FAB Devastator, or a FAB Arcee that would turn into only one of the three bikes. They could maybe pull-off a legends-sized Constructicon team that formed Devastator, but it wouldn't really work for Arcee.

I like the FAB and Legends line, but am I the only one who thinks that some of the characters of ROTF don't really lend themselves well to these sublines?

True, but what is the problem? I am sure they will get a deluxe/voyager/legend class figure somewhere. Those are the 'main' classes anyway.

I'd much rather see that than a FAB or legends...

Me too, but my point is if I had the choice of having just mainline toys of a character, or mainline toys plus a bunch of other stuff - I'll take the latter.

Yea I could see them being a problem in those lines since they would be pretty hard to pull off and still keep the gimmicks of those sublines.

Devestator... probably not the best one ofr the basic-er toy ranges....

But i've still yet to see confirmation that Arcee is made of the three bikes, yes there's a lot of proof that this may be the fact... but nothing 100% confirms this. For me at least.

I guess the lack of Arcee is to keep the speculaton going a bit longer.

I wonder if maybe there would be a Deluxe price point pack of Legends Constructicons who go from combined to vehicle modes. No robots - just the combiner, and the small vehicles.

Kids! Buy all of these microscopic components and you could build a 4.5 inch Devastator! Nah. Choking hazard.

Actually from one of the comic covers, it shows a pic of all surviving Autobots, in robot mode. Overlooking all of the new Autobots racing off. To the far right is Arcee. She is a 3 bike combiner.

Sorry I'm having trouble finding it again. When I do, I'll post a link.

I'm suddenly having this strange feeling that the reason behind Arcee consisting of three separate bikes is because of her being deliberately altered anatomically either because of an experimental or necessary life-saving process. Maybe she was critically injured before and could only be preserved in three separate parts? Or her creation was quite simply an unexpected experimental result or mistake?

No, it's because Bay didn't want an Autobot who was only nine feet tall.

No, she's 3 bike because she has multiple personallities. Not because of any explosion she could create, when destroyed. This is a Micheal Bay movie, after all. Why would there be large explosions???:rolleyes2

Actually from the Hasbro Q&A panel at Botcon over the weekend, the purple Cycle will be released, and will combine with Chromia and Arcee. To form IDK, a larger Arcee.?.? However, like Springer, Arcee and her sisters combining was cut from the movie. Bay must really hate the female Transformers. First Arcee was dropped from the first movie now the three sisters won't combine. And from what I hear Acree is killed early on in ROTF, and the movie just moves on like nothing happened.

And why did she combine??? Why not use the design from the first movie? Ok, she would have been shorter then the others, but in the movie Ravage is about the size of a normal tiger, or panther. And I can't see Wheelie being to big. He's a remote controled truck. Ok, no human sized TFs, but 2-3 foot tall ones are fine. If, I had any say, I'd have kept Acree and her sisters alive and killed that Jar Jar Binks looking, Mudflap. Although, from the trailer, it does look like Devestator grinds him to orange goo. I hope, I hope, I hope. But that's just me, and maybe after seeing the movie I'll end-up liking Mudflap.

If they did make a FAB Devy, it would be better than the supereme one.

    Meh.

Wow they actually said Arcee dies at Botcon? That is dissapointing about her not combining in the movie. What is the point of the 3 bikes then??? They totally should have kept her design from the first movie, dumped the other 2 bikes, and made her a somewhat main character. She had a lot of potential, not to mention would have been good for marketing. TV spots with Arcee talking would have made a lot of kids and parents say "hey theres a girl transformer!".

Arcee will be one of the three bikes in the movie. It was said at Botcon that the deluxe toys will still combine, but that they took out the combined form in the movie.

I personally have no interest in FABS, and the EZ Legends Devestator set may be the only Legends class figures I ever buy. That is If I even decide to get them.

If there's a subline Devastator I want, it would be Robot Replicas or an Unleashed Turnarounds.

Screw the FAB, I don't need something that blocky. Will be getting the legends and supreme classes, but a robot replica or unleashed subline would capture all the details of Devastator even better.

I don't play with my TFs, so I don't need them to transform. I just want something movie-accurate and not blocky.

Well, since arcee isnt 3 bikes, maybe they could have FAB or legends figures of each of them. Devastator legends= cool, Devastator= if thewy pull this off, Ill actually buy the FAB figures
