Got dragged to the Boston Anime Convention this weekend and noticed that Harrison's Comics had a large Vintage G1 collection for sale. Talking with the guy there anything that remained after the convention would be split between the Salem location and the Medford location. I think all the pieces in the collection for sale are complete including paperwork, tech specs, and the red tech spec reader. I did pick up a few that were reasonibly priced (Shockwave with working electronics and perfect rubber hose, Wheeljack, Scatershot). I will say from the three I bought all have tight joints and are almost like new. There was also a tempting Jetfire but at $170 with the amount of yellowing I couldn't pull the trigger. That said there are some that are priced way out of the ball park. $450 for a complete Devastator?

Salem Walmart - nothing worth reporting
Salem Target - ROTF Bumblebee Voice Changer Helmet, ROTF Bumblebee & Megatron Power Bots, ROTF Robot Heroes.

Yeah ... Salem's Harrison's doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason when pricing vintage figs, but they always seem to be pricey. Although, I got a bunch of Go-bots in pretty good shape for $5 a pop.

Yeah some of the prices were insane. I think some of the Insecticons were prices about $20 less than what I paid for Wheeljack. As I said previously some where priced fair, some priced below what I would consider fair, and some priced well above what I would consider fair.

So anyone not going to Botcon this weekend going to be hitting up the Deham TRU Firday night?

Saw a lone Depthcharge at the Salem Walgreens in Vinnin Square today. My girlfriend spotted him, and I got him with a Nougabot Snickers bar. :)

Oh btw, does anyone know if the Salem Walmart is selling the ROTF toys Friday at 5pm? If not, I guess I can always go to Target on Saturday.

You might be better off going to the Liberty Tree Mall Target instead; Salem's Walmart and Target seem to be ridiculously slow in getting new toys out. Although, I remember back in 07, the Salem Walmart did the "We'll put the toys on the shelf early, but not sell them" thing that the Lynn Walmart seems to be doing this time around.

Danvers Target had some ROTF wave 2 Voyagers on Sunday: Fallen, Ratchet, Prime, Ironhide. Didn't check whether they were allowing sales, though.

Cool so the Targets in the area may have The Fallen available on May 30. So if I can't score one Friday night and HTS doesn't have order pages up by then I may have to make a trip over to Target Saturday morning.

Holy crap guys! I just got back from a big haul. All the Walgreens in Salem and one in Danvers had most of the scouts. Never saw a Knockout, but found Dead Ends, Dirt Boss', Rollbars, Depthcharges, and a couple of Ransacks galore! Great store for the scouts. I went to the stores down Main st in Salem.

Newbury Comics in Danvers, by the Northshore Mall, had one of each in the preview wave. I hot the only Soundwave. Been a great day for TF hunting for me! :D

Scouts are $11.99 at Walgreens, FYI, a bit much, but I grabbed a Ransack anyway, and left the rest in Marlboro.

There is a knock Out, Dirt Boss left.

Um ... Where is Main Street in Salem? I can only think of the Walgreens on the Corner of Boston and Proctor Streets, and the one on New Derby Street. Did you mean the Walgreens on Main Street in Peabody?

Yeah sorry. I meant Peabody. It's the street that leads towards the train tracks in like that square. There's a least three Walgreens' on that street. You can use Google Maps to find them, like I did on my iPod touch.

Found the preview wave at the Target on route 9 in Westboro. I picked up a Soundwave. There was around ten of each left. They also had the ROTF robot heroes.

The Wal-mart across the street had the robot heroes but nothing else of interest.

Hey gang, as a North Reading Wally-World toy associate, I just wanted to let you know that ROTF toys are in fact available for sale tonight at midnight. The only bitch is, the North Reading WalMart closes at 9PM.

I can tell you though that I personally stocked most of them tonight before I left work, so you should be able to find exactly what you're lookin' for when the store opens tomorrow. The only items I wasn't able to find in the backroom was the $8.44 Scout Assortment, but we do have an on-hand count for those, so they are most likely on tonight's truck.

If for whatever reason you hit a snag tomorrow, good luck. The North Reading WalMart is almost as bad as the Lynn store. I'm the only toy associate they've got, and I start work tomorrow at 3PM so I can help you find whatever bot you're lookin' for. I've got plenty of back-stock to keep everything full (except Soundwave, all the one's I've got are on the floor).

For those of you near the NH border, the Salem, NH Walmart is fully stocked and I was able to purchase any figure I wanted. Good Luck!
