Scrapper Artwork He looks AWESOME. I am just amazed at all the Constructicons. They were and still are my favorite combiner. This version is si screaming G1 but with the movie alien aspects. I don't have my favorite Constructicon anymore. I hope he is a voyager to due this artwork true justice.
Interesting. It seems like the Constructicons have features in their robot/combined modes that come from vehicles other than those that they turn into. For example, HighTower turns into a crane, yet when he's Devastator's arm he has large buckets (such as one from a front end loader) that act as Devastator's left hand. And here we have scrapper, who turns into a front end loader, yet when in robot mode, his left hand is a scrap claw like from an excavator.
I'm liking this. I just wish I liked devastator as much.... they're SO close on that one... all the parts are right and look cool... why can't devastator
wow. You know, there was no way I was going to buy that craptacular Devastator toy, or the troubled Demolisher- but if they keep putting out characters this solid and I end up with almost all of them, the completist in me may get those two just because (of course I haven't seen this toy yet- and while longhaul is pretty cool, the toy does fall short of the movie version).
actually, this artwork has been already used by Activision as the generical "constructicon scout" character in the horrible battle for the allspark v2 online game. Constructicon Scout - Transformers Wiki
Well, there was a lot lost in translation between the concept art of Long Haul and his Voyager toy. If they can pull off a satisfactory toy of THIS guy it will be quite an achievement.
