Universe Motormaster - WIP - Updated!

I figure most people who read this are expecting to see another Cyb. Prime. Sorry to dash anyone's hopes, but i am referring to a different 'bot altogether. I'm talking about the never released version based on the plastic brick better known as Machine Wars Optimus Prime, or Thunderclash.(whatever works for you!) I started with a M.W. Prime, did the arm mod, and thought that was that. Man, was i ever wrong! Crits and comments are wanted!

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. It's one of the spots I'm stuck on. I may try to sculpt one, but truth be told, I'm not very artistic. I'll probably do what I did for the 'bash, find something close and mod it 'til it works!

Pretty G2 accurate! Definitely instantly recognizeable. Great job with the legs.

First of all, man, this thread's been a long time comin'!

Next, I just want to reiterate to you how amazing I think your work has turned out. I feel that you're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with this guy as well.

I'm anxious to see what you do with the suggestion of the kneecaps to bulk up the legs just a bit. I think it'd be the easiest adjustment you'd do to this figure thus far :lol

Definitely keep us posted, bud and keep up the good work :thumb

Wow, that's quite a combination for the legs. Sideswipe's thighs/lower arms and Armada Prime's legs?

Anyway, how's the head gonna look?

My Version of Optimus is packed away atm, but couldn't you use the original head cut it from the base drill a hole and add a pin to allow the head to turn side to side?

I had planed a few diffrent versions of Motormaster at one point or another, the two I had thought about for this as well but never acted on were This mold and Armada Bendy Prime (never considered combining the two though lol) I never liked the idea of repainting the Classics Prime Voyager into Motormaster So I'll be watching this with intrest to see how your's turns out.

Dude, that is awesome. Since I've personally handled this thing I can also state that it's one of the most stable and well-built customs (when the screws are in place) I've seen.

Thanks for the patience all. Been really busy between physical therapy, pain management doc, FINALLY getting back to work(I can EARN a living now!),and getting some work done around the house. Anyway, enough of me bitching, here's something new. I got a little burned out on the cab, so i started on a trailer for him. let me know what you think!(be warned, it's REALLY rough now) It will look a LOT better after Botcon! I'm always looking for crits and comments, so let them fly!

Wow, if you weren't making Motormaster I would of guessed Hyperdrive (unmade autobot commander meant to be Thunderclash's rival.) looking neat

Very nice! I'm really impressed with all of the work you've done here!

You've also given me a better idea of how to make the Classics PowerMaster Prime that I've been thinking about for awhile now! That leg mod would give me the perfect amount of articulation that I've been looking for!
