So I switched from my LCS (which actually closed) to a mail order comic service some months ago. They were reasonable but I found myself ordering more and more comics so went even further and have decided to try out DCBS which gives extreme discounts but the catch is you basically have to preorder a couple months in advance by using Previews magazine. You order for the whole month and then you get shipped everything for the month at the end of the month. The discounts i'm getting have enabled me to get a few extra comics and keep some I would have normally dropped because of the new Marvel Price hikes (3.99 is the new norm). Since July is the big Blackest Night kick off my order for that month balloned but you know what, I think i'm keeping my order as it is. I'm not buying any ROTF figures and with no other transformers lines out there and the summer video game droughts (especially with Batman Arkham getting pushed to september) I think this will be my guilty pleasure. Plus I really have been wanting to get into Invincible and that HC with the first 13 issues for 20 bucks is hard to pass up. Heres my pull list for July. They are the cheapest I have found. They are also really nice and answer emails promptly so you might shoot them an email about the duty fees and they should answer you. I know with my other service I was getting about 20 comics a month at around 65 and now im getting 30 for abut 70. I'm hoping Deadpool merc with a mouth turns out good. I decided to drop Thunderbolts with my July order. I'm not sure about the new direction. I'm also close to dropping Dark Avengers.

I don't have a "pull" since I get so few titles, and I'm planning on getting out of collecting comics entirely after Blackest Night, which is going to be the last big event I follow. My (short) list for right now: - Blackest Night - Mini-series and all tie-ins. - Green Lantern Corps - Decent enough title, but I'm not spending $3.99 on it when the (inevitable) price hike comes. The end of Blackest Night is a good time to jump off. - Green Lantern - Also decent, but mainly for the Blackest Night-related stuff. I'm not confident that the book is going to be interesting once Blackest Night passes, so (again) the end of Blackest Night is a good time to drop it. - Legion of Three Worlds - I shouldn't have picked this one up in the first place, but it's been decent enough and it's just about done. Johns hasn't won me over on the Legion, though, so I won't be picking up Adventure Comics.

I've been hearing good things about X-men Forever. I will have to get in trade at this point though. I did put Gen-next United on my pull list though when I saw he was doing that one.

Star Wars Legacy is the only current series i'm reading, in trades rather then floppies. Don't be put off by the fact that its Star Wars. It starts with a virtually clean slate, has little of the bullshit that plagues the rest of the franchise thesedays and its written for people that actually have pubes and critical faculties.
