ITs the best series since armada.

 

Animated is one of the best if not the best TF show I've seen in a long while.

 

I really like Animated but I don't think its the best series. My favorite series is Beast Wars just because of the story and Dinobot.

 

Animated would have been great if the first two seasons didn't have so many filler episodes. S3 is amazing, and I don't totally dislike S1 and S2, but I still feel the show wasted too much time on minor villians and plot points. It's a shame really, since we've seen how good the show could have been. I still would rank it as the 4th best TF show.

 

The stuff I highlighted I agree upon.

 

Armada/Cybertron, Beast Wars/Beast Machines, and R.I.D have always been my most favourite Transformers series, but when Animated came into being, I just had to add that into my favourite list. I just can't believe they managed to pull this off in just over a year and a half.

I really do pray that they'll make a Season 4 in the future, but I highly doubt it. However, I'll keep my fingers crossed! This new series has become an ultimate legend in my book. All hail Transformers: Animated! XD

 

ANIMATED is the ultimate proof that if you have good characters you don't need much more, the rest will happen by itself.

Yup. Since I wrote that, the gap has shrunk a hell of a lot.

While Animated has moved up to behind BW in my ranking, I don't think it's a serious contender for No 1. Sure, Season 3 of Animated and a couple of S1/S2 episodes are really good, but with the exception of Prowl, the main Autobot cast are pretty bland and cliched (big dumb one, grumpy old timer, brash new recruit, etc). The Dinobots, Constructicons, Wreckgar, Soundwave, and Blackarachnia could easily have been omitted, since they've never really done anything, and the human villains were uniformly shitty.

 

As much I enjoyed Superlink, Victory, Zone, Galaxy Force, i gotta say that the best tf show is still "Beast Wars" for me. And "Animated" is definitely THE BEST TF SHOW since Beast Wars. ^^ I said yesterday and i said it again.
I wasnt sure about the animation style at first but that feeling went away in the first episode. It really means nothing to enjoy the show. Besides its good anyway. XD the writing, the characters development, all the cameos/homages, Animated is AWESOME!!!!  
I'm so gonna miss it.

 

Though I despise the animation the writing makes it the best since RID for me.

 

I dont understand why crap shows like armada and energon get 50+ eps and animated doesn't.

 

Armada was fine. They just got lazy with Energon and Cybertron though, and made crappy shows. Animated is a gem of a cartoon, but going by how long NEW cartoons live nowadays, it lived a good life.

 

How was armada fine at all? Was there something good about it?

 

The last 5 episodes were pure ace.

Better than one season of Animated united even!
