In the trailer we apparently see megs beating screamer with his own ripped off arm on top of a skyscraper. Any mention of this in the book?

Disappointed at the lack of a few bots involvment in the story, just hope a few of them have more to do in the film than in the book. (ie. Soundwave, sideswipe etc...).

Unless I missed it, what ultimately happened to sideways after he escaped down the alley at the start?

Read the summary and I must say quite disappointed with this. I see Michael Mann's latest film toppling this in the box office and critics wise. 

 

It seems like Megs and Starscream will have plenty of screentime to satisfy us all. I'm a bit disappointed that Soundwave will be up in the stars the entire time, but at least he'll live. The CCs will probabl be generic soldiers with the exception of perhaps Mixmaster. So it seems the 'big three' will be Megs, SS, and Fallen. I'm fine with that.

One more thing... what happens to Ravage?

 

I'm guessing the same thing that happened to Scorponok in the first movie...Just dissapeared.

Yes, the writers of the Fantastic Four 2 thought the same thing - that Galactus as a giant purple dude would be silly. Why not turn him into a big nanobot cloud?  

We all know how that turned out.

I'm saving judgement until I see the movie, but judging from what I read, this is another sci-fi action movie with TF's name branded on it.

I mean, in Star Trek at least they respected the source material. Here - the Fallen is Megatron's boss (like Megatron's the guy who follows orders, yeah...), he's also a weakling and easily defeated (read Dark Ages to see how powerfull the Fallen should have been, shrugging off a direct hit from Grimlock and then KO-ing him with one punch), the Matrix is some weird dagger, Prime is an orphan (WTF? Since when do TFs have sons/daughters?), Devastator is taken out by one shot of a human weapon (making his off-panel defeat by GI Joes, Bumblebee and Hound in Devil's Due's crossover seem less humiliating), Jetfire commits suicide just so OP can fly (wouldn't loaning him his boosters would have sufficed?) Not to mention the stupid human interaction and "humour" - I already dread the 'Lucy getting high on sugar' and 'Epps' wife trying to explain something in code' scenes.

 

Didnt say, but i assume that he makes his way back to soundwave.

 

Do you see Soundwave transform at any point? or even come to earth?

You know what Brudnok? I think that un named con who asked Sam to give the Matrix of leadership to him or else his parents die that had Sam's parents in a pod as well is Soundwave. Let's remind ourselves that he too works for The Fallen as well in the movie. As for no mention of Jolt I am pretty sure he will be seen in the film.

 

I'm not surprised at the lack of Soundwave, it's been something that's slowly been getting more and more obvious as the movie and toy info has leaked.

Shame, since they hyped him up quite a lot but oh well.

 

So was there any names mentiond on the random Cons' that show up in Eygpt?
If not, give us some descriptions to fan name them, please.

It's so awesome... like.. beyond awesome... so from all the bits I've read from various sources I have some thoughts...

SPOILERS AHOY!!!











-From the comic preview and the book, Prime in shanghai and autobots in egypt getting dropped by the plane just sounds plain(punderful) awesome...

-The Doctor reviving megatron, when he calls for parts... Again so cool.

-If what someone said on the forum about the twins being 'gansta' rather than plain old ******ed I'll be happier..

-also the twins splitting as the icecream truck around the kids seems fun

-I really like the idea of Jetfire getting lost in a thought and forgetting whats going on

-Pogosticking decepticon? Should be interesting

-Lack of Soundwave =  

-Disappearing Ravage =  

-Flying Optimus =  

-Stoner humour =

-Blackout dying again =
