So want that Ravage, but simply can't justify the outlay. Heck, I don't think I'd even bother using him as a memory stick, his cat mode looks that good (and the head sculpt alone knocks Classics Ravage's tiny beakface into a cocked hat).

    Bugger. :(

Yeah, that's where I'm coming from. Blaster makes an awesome companion piece to ML Soundwave. Keep your shoes and your Mickey Mouse.

If you look at the size of a standard G1 cassette and compare it to ML Soundwave's chest you can pretty much tell that Soundwave and Blaster should pretty much be looking each other in the eye.

Blaster and Ravage look ace, Tigatron should still have a Maximal logo instead, and the two mice don't look that great at all, really.

They NEVER relied on tape decks, they relied on reels of tapes. And that is besides the point, since when did a laptop play a cassette tape.

quite the contrary. I had a casio computer in 1984 that stored info on normal cassette tapes.

The Commodore PET, VIC-20, and 64 I used as a kid would like a word with you.

    Since Blaster became one.

Why gripe about an extra feature?

I would get Ravage- it's nice.

But way to expensive for what is essentially a novelty toy. :(

Blaster being able to hold G1 cassettes has boosted this from "Eh... maybe, someday" to "WANT." You can keep your ML Soundwave; I'll stick with one that can hold his cassettes ('sides, I've got an iPod). But this Blaster might make a good counterpart to my reissue Soundwave. Not interested in Ravage, but I have to admit, his sculpt looks awesome. A great fusion of his Universe and G1 bodies.

If only this weren't so expensive. The cassette adventure 2 set will practically clean me out as it is, if I decide it's worth it.

Wow I'm loving the USB drives...those would be perfect to plug into the Allspark USB hub I've got ordered...since the Allspark makes things transform and stuff. Can Ravage be plugged in while in Robot mode, or does he have to be in USB mode?

    >__> I didnt read all the posts so sorry if I'm asking something that's been answered already, but does anyone know an official price? I may want to get Ravage..

The mice would appeal to me had they been made Wireless. They do look nice though

I was just thinking when we first saw these they had Dinobot and Overkill instead of Trypticon and Grimlock.

Now personally since these are quite skinny lookin' dino'sI'd prefer they were based on small Dinosaur characters (even a couple of the Fire-cons might have been a better choice) or the Dinosaur Microns from Micron Booster 4.

However I was wondering assuming they decide to repaint Blaster into Soundcast(er), then perhaps they might also decide to repaint the Dinosaurs.

I don't know about other people but i'd have prefered 101 Grimlocks (Beast Wars Grimlock) or Beast Wars Dinobot as the character base or Overkill since they just seem far to wimpy to be powerhouses like Grimlock and Trypticon - this is a Trypticon that I don't think can single handledly tear a borg cube to pieces with his teeth claws.

Overkill would have made a great complement to MP3 Soundwave I don't think that's so true of Trypticon.

They could even have made the dinosaur character in a dark purple color and sold it as Beast Megatron or as Beast Megaplex.

They look more like Compy's than Raptors to me too.

Tigertron sort of would have worked better with Dinobot too.

Blaster, Tigertron, & Ravage look like must haves to me.

Oh man, Im not sure if I am going to pick these up due to them being kidna expensive, but wow are these awesome. 1 minor complaint: why does Blaster have the have Windows XP on the screen? I think they should have gone with the Vista look or at least a nice looking Linux background.

    Anyway, awesome toys there.
