Exactly. People think I'm being a naysayer, fine. I just hope you don't get swindled out of 100 bucks.

 

That defeats the whole purpose. The whole point is that hes a drift car, who gives a **** about his cybertronian mode. lame.

 

Don't worry I know I want be buying it for $100 unless it's casted in a few colors and only requires a few paint apps (like the first post said, if I read it right) and the quality is higher than their last upgrade kit.

I just keep seeing some much negativity aimed at the after market sellers lately, heck I had a few things to say at one point but now that movie stuff is hitting I know I'm only looking forward to classics style products (already got my ROTF Sideswipe today)

My advice to you would be to hold out. These will go to SG members but knowing the seller he'll start hawking them on Ebay shortly thereafter for much less. He'll probably start at 100 bucks, but later go down to almost half.

Also just wait for a review by someone else to see if it's worth it.

Spending double (maybe triple) for a character I don't like from a company that has a bad rep. Yeah it's a pass for me.

& to be direct, no the upgrade was not made by FP, it was made by SG Collect. The same SG Collect that want to make this Drift figure, and the same SG Collect that sells KO'd FansProject Cliffjumper Upgrade kits on Ebay.

 

And the quality of those kits has been said to be crap. Anyone that buys from SGCollect, given the body of evidence showing their stuff is garbage, needs his head examined!

 

I know....I have one of those kits too   I only did a fast review in the Feedback forum, but I'm guessing I should do more indepth look now. What do you guys think?

 

This is great for anyone that wants to blow $100 for a box of crap casted parts that cant be used.

 

You mind telling me on what world fans "deserve" being lied to, screwed over or having over-priced crap pawned off on them? I'm already in a foul mood from having to deal with blatant laziness or whatever other lame excuse people have for not taking the time to process logical, coherent answers and explanations on these sites so sanctimonius attacks on those of us favoring a particular character by those who obviously don't give a rats ass aren't exactly rubbing me the right way.

I, for one, am getting sick of how ALL fans of any line or figure are getting screwed over these days but comments like that seem to indicate that you would be perfectly content to be on the side of those companies screwing everyone over. If that's not the case you've got one seriously odd way of showing it.

To be honest. Even if the quality of Drift is going to be amazing. I doubt I'll even buy it still.

 

Base on what I've read about Drift on the wiki, he sounds like a Mary Sue servo.

After Hasbro see how many of these Drift figure sells, they will give themselves a big facepalm for not selling one themselves. After all every person that knows about Transformers knows about Drift.
