    Looking forward to buying the eventual oversized KO of this guy and having a transformable, combining movie Devastator.

    Can anyone tell if Mixmaster has the Decepticon logo on the mixer part on this legends toy?

    You forget that the only version we've seen so far of it was a crud and mostly handpainted prototype that had nothing to do with the final product. The sculpt itself does look good.

    and usually w/ Hasbro, the prototype looks 100 times better than the final product.

    I've got mixed feeling on this. Part of me thinks it's awesome and worth searching for, and the other part is saying he is simply too small to look good in a RotF display. I'll have to see, if it comes in a set I'll probably bite, but if I have to get them separately I probably won't bother.

    I'm not a huge fan of the $100 non-transforming Devs, but here's to hoping that he is one day on the clearance rack.

    The paint apps were terrible all over on this Devastator, you could see brush strokes on the figures.

    WAIT! I understand Japanese and Demolisher is named Scavenger here. The unknown is called... translating... "decepticon: Oparodo" (or Obarodo) what does that sound like? And in case you think I'm making it up the guy we thought as Demolisher is called (in japanese) su-ka-be-n-jiya. If you pronounce it it's Scavenger.

    "Obarodo" = "Overload"

    As for the Scavenger/Demolishor thing, I think it's likely that they're two different robots; in the "Veiled Threat" prequel novel, there are two Decepticon excavator twins named Tread and Trample, which I think foreshadows another pair of Decepticon excavator twins in RotF.

    Overload? ...No idea

    I'd love to see classic combiners tackled like this. Superion, Menasor, Piranacon and the like. All updated classics 2.0 style.

    you're saying above that the Toyfair prototype was all we've seen....
    Have you ever even been to Toyfair? Most products are squeezed out to make that show, I've seen hand drawings of products that still get picked up. You can't judge or measure Toyfair products to the final product. Photoshopped or not, the image I posted is what Hasbro wants (us) to see as potential buyers.

    a while back there was a thread with side by side comparison shots of 2 of the toys (i think the bucket loader and the bulldozer) ~ you could see pretty clearly how detail-deficient the 'component' vehicles were ~ they weren't horrible or anything, just lacking in comparison...
    ack, my eyes!!! :p

    I cant see Hasbro passing this up to US customers...it would be a great way for the fans who cant afford the Voyager/deluxe sized ones get a full Devastator..You know they could do a Kmart style (though god no, please not Kmart) gift set of Devs for about 25-30 bucks, and it would sell well...

    Is there a custom Devastator (individual robots transforming and combining) which was entirely built without having to use parts from existing Transformer toys?
