reposted for visibility.. is anyone here buying into the idea that Prime dies in this film? the reason i ask is because of the scene in the recent trailer, where Sam is seen picking up the S-shaped-pointy thing (Matrix of Leadership?) at the same time Optimus stating that "Fate" quote... Makes me think this is possible.... what says tha fam?
Wrong forum, to begin with, and I think Hasbro knows that if Prime dies, the TF franchise goes with him.
Not a chance. They won't make the same mistake they did the first time. He may get beat down, but he'll survive it in the end.
Hasbro screwed up once in killing off prime they won't let it happen again , and besides just give bay a bunch of and he is happy
I dont see what the big deal would be. its a surefire way to get a 3rd movie, but the whole die-in-one-movie resurect-in-the-sequel could get a lil played-out. does anyone have an opinion on what Sam in holding on that part of the trailer?
Truth. Hasbro would not be that stupid...would they? I suppose I am in the minority, and want Prime to die (in the end of the movie franchise run), taking out the enemy and finishing what Megatron started long ago. That would give the movie universe more gravity. But Prime dying, then coming back? No thanks. That is soooo cliche. A final and heroic death he does not return from...would not be what the mainstream audience would expect, and that is why I want it. It gives his death more meaning and resonance. But not yet, please. Wait until the end of the third film.
umm sure... cuz it went well the first time... my older brother, STILL hates rodimus prime, for that reason... and he's not even a fan or anything he just was one when he was a kid... if prime "Dies" he'll just come back to life like in the animated series, or something at the end. or won't really be dead. hasbro's tried this once before... with terrible results... g1 never recovered from that blow...
I doubt prime will die....i'm sure alot of autobots will die but Prime wont be one of them(but as long as BB makes it i'll be happy).
