    Would love to have seen those Cybertron guys repainted, of course... but in my experience, Cybertron's a pretty enduring series for the target audience.

    Several of my friend's kids (five boys between 6-10) STILL go on about Cybertron & cyber keys and planets... according to several of them, Animated is "for babies" and the Movie stuff is "for grown ups". Purely anecdotal, of course, but they're all pretty consistent in that thinking.

    Based on the fact we're seeing these guys in Universe (as well as individually packed Backstop, Brakedown, and Brushguard), it would seem Hasbro marketing also sees some potential sales with these molds/chaacters.

    There has been a few new universe line announcement albeit in the form of repaints.

    What is the ETA on them hitting shelves?

    If they MUST do a 3-Pack from Cybertron, then why not do Red, Yellow & Blue Scrapmetals/Rumble instead? That would've made more sense. :2c:
